Iām going to start off by saying that Iām Peruvian, and after living in LA and trying different Peruvian restaurants, I can confidently say this place is special. Thereās truly no other spot like El Huarique. The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and you can taste the love in every dish. Food is amazing--I've been twice already since it opened. Aji Amarillo was soooo bomb; I think I had the tallarine verdes the previous time and it was also very good. It was my bestie's first time having lomo saltado and now she is a convert. They also really liked the ceviche!
