what i get: muddy okinawa milk tea, 25 ice and regular sugar. 10/10 had cookie crumble and what seemed like cream on the top, and that was DELICIOUS. drizzle down the sides and LOTS of boba. the amount of boba had me floored, because at other boba places they give such little boba that i finish all the boba halfway through the actual tea. i always get the bigger cup, so I don't know if there's less boba in the smaller cups. the boba is sweet and chewy, not stiff and tasteless like other boba places. they also don't accept credit/debit cards when your order is below 7$ (i could be wrong about the 7$).
cleanliness/aesthetics: 10/10. this place was so clean and nice. i didn't see a single napkin on the floor, or leftovers on the tables. i love the outdoorsy, wooden aesthetic of this place. there are succulents on each table to provide a little more aesthetic to the shop. it's a very pretty place and I really love the aesthetic of it.
staff: 10/10. they are so nice and i've never received a single rude word from any one of them. i was astonished at how fast they make the tea. i barely have to wait at all and my boba is ready.
prices: 9/10. the prices are actually pretty reasonable for the amount of boba they give per tea. it's a dollar extra for the bigger cup, and it may seem like a lot to some, but it took me an hour and 20ish minutes to finish my tea (which is also because i was trying to save it), so the extra dollar is worth your while.
overall: 10/10. i love the boba and the place itself, and i will be coming back here many more times...
Read moreSadly enough, there are not many good boba places in NorCal as compared to SoCal. Fantasia is the best one imo. The cafe doesn't use powder, and their tea, especially the Cupertino location, has a consistent flavor. I love getting the hot green milk tea w/ boba, less sweet, during the winter months. And the iced version during summer months. The boba at Fantasia could be chewer but it'll pass for the time being while I can't afford to fly 1000 miles everyday for boba in Taiwan. I also heard that they serve taro balls now! I'm not a fan of taro (I know...what kind of Asian am I...) but many of my friends are fanatics about it so good for you, Fantasia! :) I'd choose this place over Quicklys, Lattea, Tapioca Express, Verde anydayyyyy... especially since I love hearing Taiwanese workers speaking in the motherland language- makes me feel right at home and trustworthy of the drinks I am receiving! Cash only though - and do remember to get a stamp card, you get your 10th drink free. Nomnom....
Read moreI used to come here few times a month. The most recent trip was super disappointing! The grape fruit tea drink I ordered is tasteless. It used to come with real grapefruit, but no grapefruit this time. I asked the staff why there’s no grapefruit? The guy said: it has always been like this....?! You must be kidding - I ordered this same drink for at least 30+ times! I noticed the store has been recently renovated. But unfortunately, the quality of food and service gone down at the same time. PS: I may look too upset, the staff brought me some grapefruit afterwards, but it is still tasteless and nothing...
