Tofu Plus is a little popular gem in Cupertino Village. We came on a Sunday night at 8 P.M., and it was PACKEDD. The food still came out fast, so I didn’t notice any negative changes in service. The interior had lots of seating even though the restaurant looks tiny from the outside. The service was amazing with kind attentive servers. Our server made sure to give us the right amount of attention and ask us how everything was even though there were LOADS of people.
Moving onto the food. I got the beef bulgogi and my dad got the Soft Tofu Mushroom Soup with noodles. These dishes came with LOADSS of side dishes that we were nowhere close to finishing. Just look at the images I have put up to see the amount of side dishes that came with our main dishes. There were too many to name, but my favorites were the fish cake and the chili cucumber! Both were insanely good with their own unique flavor profiles. The fish cake was very salty and had the perfect texture almost like a well done egg! The cucumber was the right amount of spicy and was also hydrating and refreshing. My bulgogi was VERYYY TASTY. It had a little bit of sweetness and a lot of saltiness. It came out SOO hot I almost burnt myself. Laid on a bed of caramelized onions I didn’t think it could get any better, but with some rice, beef bulgogi, and kimchi it was the PERFECT bit. The beef bulgogi was SOO good it wasn’t gamey at all and there was also SO much meat:)! No stinginess all flavor! The only flaw with the beef bulgogi was that it was a tad bit dry, but it was still VERY tender. The tofu noodle mushroom soup was equally as brilliant as the bulgogi. The ramen noodles were bomb in the nice spicy broth. There was also SOO much tofu. It was like a silken tofu because it was so soft! The crunchy mushroom, soft tofu, and chewy noodles mixed with some spicy broth made the PERFECT combo. I recommend getting a medium spicy broth if you don’t have too much of a spice level because the mild was pretty mild:(.
While the food was pretty expensive the ambiance, servers, and portion sizes made up for this. OVERALL I would definitely recommend Tofu Plus to others and I plan on coming again sometime soon!...

Thank you @Cherylynn , @Ryan and @Kalmy for recommending Tofu Plus!!
We have been missing Banchan for a while and you helped us get our Banchan fix, along with the most scrumptious Korean meal in a long time and right on New Year's Eve !!
So we did some early ordering online on their website (also called in to confirm that Banchan was included and in nice portions) and their went over to pick-up. Cupertino Village has changed much since we last ventured in, more constrained to drive around, but was happy to see decent crowds, practicing Covid safety precautions around the place.
The restaurant itself was near empty and we got our to-go at the door itself which we appreciated and after a short drive we were back home.
Next the packing of the to-go - amazing! Airtight containers for the Banchan and boxes that kept the meal warm for the main dishes . Was thoroughly impressed !
So here is what we ordered: Japache or the Stir Fried Glass noodles with beef and Vegetables Yache Pajeon or the Vegetable Pancake Dolsot Bibimbop or the Rice Topped with vegetables, and beef ( thoroughly missed the hot stone bowl) Bulgogi or a humongous portion of Marinated sliced beef ribeye which was served over a bed of sliced onions.
And of course they were accompanied with 12 different types of Banchan! And with seconds too. Guess they heeded our request . Each and every Banchan served was different from the others, very very tasty and flavorful and were left fighting with out chopsticks as we finished them off before anything else!
We also thoroughly enjoyed the glass noodles( better half's favorite) and were impressed with the thickness and quality of the pancake. And quality of the meat in the Bibimbop was top notch as well!!
We are certainly going for a another round very very soon an that I am already eyeing the Grilled Mackerel and Spicy beef with hand cut noodle soup for...
Read moreCame in on a Monday night at 8pm and more than half of the restaurant was full. We got seated right away. Friendly and attentive staff. Restaurant had nice decor and it was clean. Noise level was moderate.
What we ordered: Seafood & beef tofu soup Spicy beef soup with king dumplings Galbi
Within two minutes of ordering 12 different banchons flooded the table, ranging from kale to japchae to kimchi to broccoli to apple salad and much more. All very delicious! I mean, who has japchae as a complimentary condiment? It was very good btw. Not as much veggies as you would order in an entree but flavorful.
Tofu soup came first. Bubbling ferociously as I cracked the raw egg into what looked like lava! The soup was savory and delicious. 2 big shrimps, 1 oyster, and lots of little clams with pieces of beef. Ordered spicy but it was just a hint of heat. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit because you can taste the sweetness of the seafood. The waiter went back into the kitchen and grabbed the next soup. It's basically Yukjaejang (spicy soup with shredded beef with veggies) with 4 GIANT dumplings. The 4 dumplings took up the entire bowl. The dumpling is filled with pork, chives, and tofu. The thickness of the wrapper was perfect to sustain in the soup without it falling apart. The soup had shreds of beef, beaten eggs and lots of veggies. It's definitely a meal within itself. Last came the galbi over a bed of shredded onions on its sizzling platter along with tongs and scissors. The meat on the galbi was so tender and succulent but I wish it had a little more char, just a personal preference. The marinade is nice and savory with just a hint of sweetness, likely from a pureed Korean pear. With tax and tip, our bill was under $80. Everyone has food to bring home for...
