I should have listened to the Yelp reviews before wasting my time coming here, as I noticed a lot more people mentioned the poor service than the Google reviews. I showed up here instead of Gen because 1) it was much closer to me 2) it had all you can drink 3) the main reason I even considered this place, the low-walk in and sit wait time I've heard from all the reviews. All the reviews said the same thing, that there was no wait time and open tables all the time. Wrong, except not for the reason you might think.

I went in with one other person and asked for a table for 2. I had to ask three different people myself because no one was at the front. The first two people I asked told me to hold on, when finally a third guy got up from one of the tables as if he was a customer getting up from eating and asked me how many. I said 2, and he said okay the wait is 15 minutes. That's right... 15 minutes. The place was pretty much empty, had about 8 tables filled, with the whole left side of the restaurant completely empty. There were empty tables all over the place. I waited about 5 minutes before asking him what I waiting for. He told me that they needed to clean up the tables, and that they were closing soon so it would take longer to set up. How does that make any sense?? It was 7:45!! I looked at him, said well okay if you're closing soon then never mind, walked out the door and drove straight to Gen at Westgate mall where the wait time was only 10 minutes. Well worth the drive for the consistent service.

I really regret not taking a picture of how empty it was when he asked us to wait 15 minutes, but honestly you could probably go at anytime and see the exact same thing I'm talking about. This type of service is why the place is always empty, doesn't matter if the food is good or not. I can't even imagine how much worse it would have been dealing with them as...

Decided to tried here with my wife due to all the good reviews she saw on here. We went there and we had to wait about 5-8 min before getting seated eventhough there was literally no customer in the resturant beside a table of 4 eating at that moment. We got sat down but were only given one menu. Our table was literally oily and you can see the oil on the table and on grill itself. We look at the empty tables across from us and was surprise to see how oily the table top were. It looks like they were not even wipe down at all. Wow im paying $26 for this. The spoon they sat on the table were oily as well. AND If you look closely at the tong, they are digusting. You can see all the yellow buildup between the creases on the tong!!!.. Service itself was extremely poor and slow. I mean it was dead slow. There was only us 2 and another table of 4. We only saw our waiter twice ( one time when taking our first order and 2nd time bringing us our meat). He forgot our steam egg and never came back. He never came back to ask how we are doing so we had to start requesting from one of the other guys. The other guys then forgot our spicy squid on the second order, and took quite awhile to get our refill for water. We were fed up so we didnt even bother asking for them. Not the kind of place and service i would expect for spending $26. Food was okay, but table, grill, and utensil need to be properly cleaned. Service definitely need an overhaul. I have been to better korean bbq. Not...

This is the best Korean BBQ place I have ever been to in the Bay area.

Price: $$

Food: Everything you could imagine. Highly recommended: marinated bulgogi, marinated short rib, spicy port belly, spicy squid. They upgraded their buffet station. From vegetables to fruit, and soup, sushi, mini pancakes, fish cakes, rice noodles, etc. All of them taste good.

Service: young and good-looking servers all the time. They'll change your baking plate when needed, never be late. This is very important at a BBQ place.

Atmosphere: It can be family-friendly and night club style at the same time. It also can be a good date place for a couple. I saw a mom alone with her three kids having a good time eating. I also saw a group of 20s young people having a birthday party. I also saw many couples eating and relaxing on a weekend afternoon.

Parking: Free parking lot. You can always find a parking spot.

Waiting time: you'll need to wait more than a hour at any other BBQ places but I usually get a seat within 5-15mins. No more wait!

I've started to go to Bull BBQ since 2019. During the pandemic, I always worry that it will go out of business because I don't see many customers every time I go. Fortunately, it survived and was upgraded! Bull BBQ is my go-to place for Korean food, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves...

I've only ever been to two KBBQ places before (here and Gen) and I must say Bull was much better than my previous experiences at Gen. I will note that it is a bit more expensive, but if I am already paying to eat KBBQ I want it to be good and am willing to pay a little more to make that happen. The banchan were pretty tasty, the quality of and diversity of sauces were pretty good and added to the overall experience, and critically, the service was fast. Some of the cuts of meat (i.e. the brisket) was fatty enough that I cut away the fat for each piece, but since its all you can eat that just meant I ordered more to compensate for the lost mass. Thinking back, it's probably the best experience I could have asked for after entering a building that looked and sounded like a dance club but smelled like meat and pickled root vegetables upon entering.

This was my second visit to Bull's Korean BBQ. I don't remember much from my first visit. We ordered a seafood pancake appetizer (it is a huge portion). I ordered a Bibimbap bowl with Salmon. Flavor wise, everything was very good. There was lots of seafood in the seafood pancake. The Bibimbap bowl was served with a very generous piece of salmon on the top. I did add hot sauce to my bowl and to the pancake. I would have given this four stars if everything hadn't been as greasy as it was. The salmon was I think fried hot in a pan with oil. The Bibimbap bowl had the wonderful crunchy rice at the bottom and a beautiful fried egg on top. I just wish there would be ways to prepare these dishes less greasy and more healthy. There was a beautiful looking buffet for an all-you-can-eat lunch. The service was good and the atmosphere was fun.

This place is really really fantastic. All you can eat korean bbq. They also have unlimited kimchi and small korean dishes in a buffet style (i love it because you dont have to keep asking the server for more small side dishes like other places). Egg rolls, soups, fries, and a bunch of other items. Lots of sauce variety too. This place is great because you can dictate how you want to eat. I wrap the pickle radish + meat+ kimchi + grilled garlic and eat it all together (fantastic). My wife uses lettuce to wrap all those ingredients. Get lemon slices and put in your water. Grill pineapples for dessert (i only wished they have some cinnamon lol) I really enjoyed and will definitely come back. This is probably the best bang for the buck in the bay area.
