Update #2: after dozens of times here, today we ordered bowls 23 and 24 (leek and eggs, and garlicky pork) and mixed both of them together. Literally took half of his dish and put it in my bowl, have him half of mine and then we mixed everything. That was delish.
Update: I love this place, but whoever wrote in the description that this is a "serene eatery with a Zen-like air" was probably dreaming of another place.
They put the calories on the menu for each dish, 900 calories for some, but portions are super generous so it's hard to finish a full bowl. I always take noodles home, and I'm normally the kind to eat my full dish and then some more.
Food: 4 stars Ambience: 4 stars Service: 3 stars - it's OK, but clearly not the focus. Value: 4 stars
The food is quite delicious. Here are my recommendations: the rouburger, a pulled pork slider, is a great appetizer for pork lovers like me. Liang Pi is another great appetizer dish, we get it every time. It's basically noodles and gluten, and it's a cold dish. It's very flavorful and the cooling effect makes it feel lighter, particularly as part as this big meal. The braised beef noodle dishes are delicious. I'm more of a pork person usually, but this braised beef is tender, well seasoned and makes life great.
The spiciness level in their spicy dishes, such as spicy pork noodles, is very good. I can tolerate and enjoy it despite not usually eating spicy food, so go for it if interested.
TIP: their wide, flat noodles are tastier, ask for those even if your dish has others by default and...

QQ Noodle is a no frills, causal and quick service place. Don’t let that fool you though. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.
There is a QR code at each table and you scan to place your order. The waiters will then bring your food out to you. The food comes out quick and delicious.
What we ordered:
Liang Pi: This is one of my favorite dishes and not many places make this anymore. QQ Noodles makes my favorite Liang PI and this is a dish I will always order if I see it on the menu in both North Cal and NYC. The noodles are bouncy, the cucumbers refreshing and just the right level of spice. No frills deliciousness.
Sour Mustard and Grass Fish Noodle Soup: I tried it with wide noodle but next time I think I will get the round. The wide noodles are hand pulled which have that great texture and chew. It is done well so there is not a mouthful of dough like some other places. Fish is plentiful and so is the portion of sour mustard.
Large Plate Chicken Noodles (No Bone). Not on their printed menu, this was an option when you scan the QR code. They use chicken thighs and its braised with potato. Flavorful and just the right level of spice thats too spicy but offers a little kick for flavor.
If you are in the neighborhood, stop by for a quick meal. TP tea in the same strip mall is also a wonderful Bubble tea place that makes their drinks...
Read moreThe menu online and reviews don't highlight a big factor of this restaurant: it's focus on xian region food! Was glad to see I could fulfill my liangpi addiction and this place did NOT disappoint!
Three factors I use to judge the level of liangpi dish:
QQ does well on 2/3 - the level of spicyness wasn't there and the hot sauce they had available wasn't the oil based spice sauce I've grown to expect. Regardless, the garlic/vinegar taste in the sauce was strong and amazing! But the best part was the rubbery texture of the noodle! The gluten pieces were abound and plenty so you can be assured this was made fresh.
The lamb burger was great! And the beef pieces were also delicious.
Overall, service was quick and food tasted great. Just wish it had a little more "kick" va other xian places I've been too in North America. Also, this place only accepts cash so be sure to have handy. All 3 dishes came to roughly 25...
