Tasty skewers. My favorites are the beef with fat, intestines (especially with rice on the side), and corn. But the lamb, taiwanese sausage, pork belly, wagyu beef, and chicken gizzard were good too. I also ordered the edamame and peanuts, and I wish they cooked the peanuts longer, but that's just preference. It's also nice they have a mini tray with a candle to keep your skewers warm. The robot server is cute and the food arrived quite fast. Not sure if that was because we went around opening time and it was pretty empty. Around 30 minutes later a lot of people started coming in but by then we already got all our food. One thing I wouldn't order again is the dandan noodles, they were much soupier and less flavorful than I expected. Overall the prices are ok because most each order comes with 3 skewers. It's also nice there's no tip here because the server is a robot. It also might be a bit more difficult if you don't speak Chinese but I think they also can speak English if you need. And if you can't handle a little bit of spice maybe you can ask them to lower the spice (not sure if they do this). I thought it was a good...
Read moreOwner does not read Google reviews: They still have the skimpy paper napkins in dispenser. Still charging unbelievable price for extra hoisin sauce. Now they deep fry the duck skin in other than duck fat, cut it up & serve it w/ the duck: it no longer has ANY duck flavor. Duck meat was good, but not the same without the tasty skin. Still only offering the thin crepe like pancakes with which to eat it, everyone having to handle the whole stack to peel them off. The skewers are tasty but expensive as there was less than a teaspoon of meat on the lamb skewers. We ordered the ducks the day before, so that came out right away. Ordered the string beans the minute we arrived, but didn't get the til just as we were getting ready to leave. Whole experience was not helped by the amount of noise in the place. We only went back this time because it was requested by son on his birthday. P.S. they use robots to serve the food, so price per person was...
Read moreThis is a great restaurant with barbecue and shabu-shabu in Beijing, and there is no extra labor service charge. The airy, tasteless, clean and Beijing-like environment is impressive. Unmanned vegetable delivery machine delivers vegetables in time, which is convenient and reduces the contact between people. It's great. If you like barbecue, it will make you pay a high price. You can consider barbecue with some staple foods, which will make you full and the price will be cheaper. If you choose Beijing roast duck and other specialties, you should make a reservation as early as possible. If you only consider ordering when you go to dinner, there will be no more. (I went to eat twice .and many dishes were sold out. This is my experience).
Recommendation: Barbecue eggplant is expensive, the taste is average, and the taste of oysters is not enough. Noodles taste great,...
