El Churrascaso Brazilian Grill — Restaurant in Cutler Bay

This place is over hyped. The portion of meat they give you for the price is unfair. The meats pretty much have the same seasoning so it all tastes the same and the quality of the meat seems cheap. I feel like the reviews don't reflect the restaurant properly. The alcoholic drinks are over priced the only drink you get your value for in the sangria as I don't even think they have a liquor license. The salad is wonderful the potato salad was too wet with mayo. The fried yuca was good but they need better condiments for them. The fried cheese was good but could have been warmer and lastly the shrimp croquettes were not good at all to me very fishy and cheap taste. I personally would not go back. I don't feel it was worth it for the money that I spent and I was rushed to leave because I was the only customer and they were closing early I guess. I just feel like everything is over priced for the most part to cover their rent at the mall but that's unfair to the customer. And then they set the minimum tip for the waitress at 18% when it is supposed to be 15 I thought, it just seems like it's all about the money but they're not even giving the customers a truly authentic experience by cutting the meat at the table and giving good quality meat and...

We visited your restaurant at Southland Mall today and were disappointed overall. We had tried it when it first opened and decided to give it another chance for the dine-in experience.

The restroom was in poor condition, dusty stall walls, broken toilet seat, and a latch that didn’t work. The sangría tasted like Sprite, and the chimichurri was served in a reused container. The initial signs of uncleanliness when I went to wash my hands just made the experience unpleasant.

My only highlight was the friendly and attentive staff.

Recommendations: Deep clean and maintain restrooms daily, ensuring all fixtures are functional. Serve condiments in clean, single-use or freshly washed containers. Use authentic ingredients for drinks like sangría to preserve flavor and quality. Improve overall maintenance, and cleanliness in restaurant to enhance the guest experience. How this place doesn’t have 5 stars will forever be a mystery to me. My husband and I were deciding on where to eat for date night and as we were parking we saw this place from the parking lot, immediately intrigued by the name alone. Every staff member was extremely welcoming, kind, and funny. The atmosphere was warm and homey and the smell of the food from the kitchen was outstanding. Everything on the menu is well worth its price. The strawberry mojito… to die for. Strong sweet fresh and delicious. We shared a 2lbs parilla mixta and it was a symphony of mmmms and omgs. Everything was delicious and tender. The cinnamon maduros and seafood bisque topped off the meal wonderfully.
