Elizabeth, who stated she's been the manager at this location for 10+ years mistreats its employees ranging from being condescending to creating a hostile and retaliated working environment. She tells-- not asks the adolescent workers, what kind of earrings to wear, as well as telling them not to wear make up etc. She punishes by telling you she will give you less hours during the work week if you do not clean properly even when you are cleaning properly and isnt clear about when training finishes so the owner can continue to pay the employees at $9/hr instead of $11. Who does this? While I believed this was an isolated incident, below is another a review where someone else had the same complaint about how the manager here mistreats its employees. It seems to be a constant with this management. Since I have been unable to state my claims, I was left with no other choice but to come to social media in the hopes of bringing light to these unfavorable conditions so that it does not continue to happen to others. In the month and 1/2 of working, 3 people quit right on the spot. I could not understand why there was such a high turnaround until I myself experienced personal harassment from the manager and retaliation from the lead she leaves in charge. I believe the owner of this Dairy Queen has to be aware of what is happening here as Elizabeth is constantly stating "I've spoken to the owner and he told me I can do what I what I want" The owner of this Dairy Queen needs to listen to all sides of what the workers are put through and be more available to speak, spot check the store, and really see what type of individual is running his franchise instead of taking his managers word for what she claims is happening. A phone call and a letter to corporate with specific incidents and details...
Read moreVery bad customer service every single time I go with my husband. This time was the worst. It was September 1st at about 5pm. I ask for a large blizzard and the other for the 99cents. I didn't receive the second one. She said I didn't order 2 and she couldn't void it and redue it. So I left very unhappy. I didn't even eat the one I received. I will never go again I always get horrible service.sucks cause I'm a ice cream lover and I'm always at the mall. I hope u can talk to that girl.she don't seem like she cared about making me happy at all. I ordered brownies with my blizzard didn't have one brownie with the blizzard that I tried to eat the following day. I did pay for the extra brownie though.i will never ever eat there again. I just can't believe how rude she was. I'm in shock. And then she flips the blizzard over with an attitude . Maybe I expect more.ive never ever left a bad review before. But honestly I'm over it. I had just left the gym and it was my cheat day. No peanuts no browny no fudge and no caramel. I paid 9 dollars for vanilla and idk want else. I hope u know who the girl was. Very bad. And u know what all the other ones that u hired are no good too. I've been there like 8 times and they always have...
Read moreI drove to Southland Mall to go to Dairy Queen to get some blizzards. When I got there there were no customers and the three girls were standing around talking. I waited and Juan approached me to take my order. She informed me only soft serve was available. I said I’d like four blizzards. She informed me that the blizzard machine was being refilled and I told her I would wait she said well we close at eight and it’s not gonna be ready. She obviously didn’t wanna do the work I said I would wait. Nobody was in the back filling machine they were all upfront. I waited and the girls all mumbled together and then came over and looked at me Siri you don’t understand it’s not gonna be ready by eight and we close at eight. I said I’ll wait. When I started taking pictures to post this review it finally galvanize them in the action they asked what we wanted and went back for each set of ingredients. When I asked for a banana split blizzard they told me it’s not on the menu. They did not offer to try to make it or anything. I won’t...
