Jubilee Donuts:: Bigfoot at Bailey Road, Cuyahoga Falls The panorama in display cases is enough to cause brain fog (what to go for, today), well before sugar rush eventually takes over. The place opens for early birds, at 5:00 am, has steady turnover, mostly takeout. Few regulars appear to enjoy 'the usual', occupying a fraction of the seating for ~20. On the plain side, toasted coconut cake donut stood out. Also liked their crème stix, doughsants, raised donuts, cinnamon rolls. They seem not to follow the Dunkin-fresh model (who discard the closer inventory, same day), as few declining, drier-on-inside, submarines do slither in the assorted box (aren't fresh donuts moist?). Coffee is good, too. Unfortunately, the boxed carafes hold no less than 10 cups; smaller server carriers are not available. The donut guy up-front has been there for years, but ask him a question and a booming voice from the hidden lair answers! Do check opening days, as currently they're closed on Mondays & Sundays. Sundays???! Or is it that they focus on weekdays that need a pick-me-up boost?

We did a drive through order, the whole fam was craving KK (our gold standard is the plain glazed) but they were closed, found the next open donut place. It was around 8pm and other places were closed while Jubilee was just opening up! Kudos for the hours! We got glazed donut dozen, vanilla sprinkles, custart, chocolate stix, doughsant-croissant dough stuffed with custard, cake type donut topped with corn flakes and raspberry filled. I must say we have no regrets stopping by, glazed tasted good, heated up in microwave for 8 sec like freshly made - compared to KK dough feels a little heavier, more dense. Doughsant was interesting, Boston and raspberry filled were good as expected, chocolate stix was on the dry side, I was pleasantly surprised by the cake raised donut with corn flakes! I never liked the cake type but this one changed my mind, it was just right, moist dough not too caky, perfect balance of glaze and topping! All in all, would highly recommend!

My family and I went here on a Saturday morning around 10 am. I've been meaning to go as I've heard good things and read very positive reviews online. When we got there, there was a long line, which was a good sign. I got to chatting with another person who had 24 hr pre-ordered a giant glazed donut (pictured). He said he had bought in the past for his son's birthday. One of the workers overheard and mentioned that he had another ready to go. I had to buy it. It is enormous and only $14. We also ordered a chocolate stick and an apple fritter. All very delicious and worth the trip. What impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff. I got a chance to chat with them, and that was really my favorite experience. I highly recommend this donut shop.

Best Doughnuts in the Akron area by far!

I came in for 3-4 doughnuts. I was in the Akron area getting a tent and originally was thinking getting lunch, but decided that I haven't had doughnuts in a while. The building, im guessing, is probably the original building from when they started in 1947. I was greeted by the owner and I started telling him what I wanted. I asked for the Maple Cream Stick and a Blueberry Jam Doughnut and then asked for his recommendations. Said it was my first time at his establishment. He had me try 3 different doughnuts to try and pretty much gave them too me. I got the Lemon Jam & Cream Stick and a Croissant Doughnuts with my other two doughnuts.

The Jam and Cream Sticks are to die for. I've not been to a doughnut joint in Ohio or in our country that has this idea on the menu. The Jelly/Jam doughnuts are stuffed to max capacity, the cream sticks were great, and the Croissant Doughnut had a good crunch yet very moist inside.

This place makes family own local businesses stand out from chains. Id 100%...
