Ok, since you are asking....I have had much better experiences here, but not this time. The young waitress was not very helpful at all, bordering on rude. I ordered an ice tea, it looked and tasted like colored water. I asked if I could get some that wasn't watered down, her response was that is the way it is, with a take it or leave it attitude. Didn't offer a substitute except sweet tea, no Coke or other soda. My burger was over-done. I asked for onion rings, but she snapped back that it COMES with chips. So I ordered a side of the onion rings but they we're greasy and didn't finish them. When one if our other friend's burger came with fries, I thought, why didn't she offer that as an alternative to me? I would have paid for the difference if there was an up-charge. Then when a late member if our party arrived, I POLITELY asked about getting an extra chair. She AGAIN snapped back that there wasn't any. Didn't bother to look,just turned and walked away. Guess one of us was supposed to stand thru dinner. I got up and found an extra chair sitting around the back of the last booth, all by itself, no one using it. Went for the Lent Special, Fish fry! 4 big pieces of Alaskan Pollock, tasty, not too oily or greasy. Tasted fresh, flaky under the breading. Fries were average but hot.. Cole slaw, Awful as they didn't cut the core out properly from the cabbage. If it's prepared on site, could just be a one time goof in the kitchen. Nice big lemon wedge to squirt on the fish. Tartar sauce was fine and they gave you enough. Overall, pleased with the meal and can't beat the price, $6.95! Four stars! Wife & I got out of there for under $20. Was there on a Friday night so was busy. Took 30 minutes from order to food in front of us. Service was fine. The atmosphere isn't bad, not too noisy inside. I was craving some wings. I’m not sure if the wing special is everyday or just Thursdays but they did have a wing special as of Wednesday. When I walked in it was packed with people but it wasn’t too loud or any music. Out of all the people there, I was the only melanated woman there however I was welcomed by the staff. It was my first time and the bartender helped me pick a sauce for my wings which was the hot garlic and that flavor was really good! There was a bar back also that check on me to see if the wings were good which they were good ! However I just wish that some of my wings were smaller because some were really huge. Wings came fast even tho there were many people. I had a mixture of different sizes from medium to x-large in my opinion.
