I love the concept of this restaurant and butcher shop. Everything is no nitrates everything is local free range, etc. However, they are adding way too much sodium to all their meals. My sandwich was almost in edible that it had so much sodium on it. Along with pickles on top which in itself have a lot of sodium. The pickles actually tasted like they had no sodium compared to the sandwich. That's how much salt is being added. I really love the concept in the restaurant but I don't think I can come back with the amount of sodium that they're using on their food. I'm still giving five stars because I love that the animals are free range and the staff and Help are good and the meat has no nitrates, but they definitely need to cut back on the sodium. I told the waiter about the ridiculous amount of sodium on their food, and he said that when you order you can order no added salt, so that's the good news. I will definitely do that. However, I don't know why they add extra salt to begin with Because they have table salt and pepper right on the table. People can add it if they want it. As I tried to continue eating my sandwich, I had to reduce the stars to four stars because of the ridiculous amount of sodium. It's literally almost in edible. There's so much sodium on the sandwich. I'd like to see some nutrition information like most other restaurants have I'm guessing the sodium will be off the charts. Almost done edible. Can't taste anything but salt. Even the dipping sauce has a ridiculous amount of sodium in it.

The food is decent here. But it is overpriced for a $20 sandwich. I want to be blown away, but it's just decent at best. You can find better at other places for less or the same price. Now the big thing that knocks this resurant down is the service. Service here is painfully slow. It was almost 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Which is insane in a very tiny restaurant. The appetizer took about 10 minutes, which is fine. But 40 minutes for your main course is really bad. I could have had a 5 course fine dining meal for a similar price and have been done quicker than here and had more food. But the overall meal was $75 yes they did comp some items for the long wait which I do appreciate but if I had paid $75 for this meal it would have been a rip off the quality just is not there. Also not to mention there are several TVs around the restaurant like it's supposed to be a sports bar, but half of them are broken. I feel like the interior design of this place is confused between rustic charm and sports bar. It is, however, conveniently located right across from the free parking garage. Also be warned this resurant is very loud. Yes, you can still hear each other, but for the price point, I'd expect better noise control. There is also an extra 3% fee on the bill for no reason. Just raise your prices at that point don't hide behind a hidden fee. The final point is that the signature drink here is supposed to be this maple old fashioned. The maple doesn't really come through that strong it is just a hint of maple.

Best fresh burger I've ever had! The TFR Burger is their take on a Big Mac,only your getting the freshest meat, cheese, homemade pickles, homemade special sauce, greens & brioche bun. Homemade Potato Chips on the side included or try their other sides. Great menu with salads, wraps, sandwiches and sides. Rustic reclaimed wood interior with comfortable seating at the small bar, tables and window counter with high top chairs. Wine,Beer and drinks available. Full service butcher counter with seafood, beef, pork, poultry, ready made take and bake items for meals, produce, cheeses and ready to go drinks for your carry-out lunch. Love this local chain serving Cuyahoga Falls,Bath and Hudson areas. September 2024: Servers were rotating tables and the one that was supposed to take care of me was oblivious to what was going on. Chatting with hostess and customers at the counter. Finally, about 15 minutes later, other server noticed I was still sitting there and offered help and apologies. Ordered French Dip and it was very good. Rotating, while the fairest way to run a two server lunch rush,it's not always smooth running. Give them each assigned patio tables and assigned indoor tables. Less confusion for young staff.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. We sat down at 2:15. There were only 3 tables that sat down AFTER we did. Only about 4 seated tables inside. Waited for 10 min and I asked for a server. Kaitlyn, She got our 2 drinks, and fried pickles order. Our sons showed up we gave her our complete order. We waited another 20 min no pickles. So I went and checked asking for drink refills. I asked the waitress and she got very upset and said she still hadn't put our order in yet. I said "What?" We ordered over 20 min ago" Kaitlyn informed me( NOW the resteraunt is to full capacity). " The kitchen won't let me put your order in" I told her we were in a time crunch and Kaitlyn looked at me and said " I'LL JUST CANCLE YOUR ORDER" I said no no,why would you do that. "Well if your in a hurry Ill just cancel it and you can cash out for what you have" I looked at her and said Why, would you say that my sons are hungry and its been a long time" Never saw her again! Pickles came out 15 min later! I went back in with dirty dishes and dirty glasses to ask again about our food. Now at 1 hour. Now all the tables inside the restaurant that came in well after us were eating! I asked Kaitlyn who COMPLETELY 100% ignored me. Over 1 hour and still no food, no refills both my sons went into the restaurant where she tried to IGNORED them. They told her we have been waiting over an hour. As they stood there she turned to the bartender and said the woman outside is yelling about no food. Another patron heard this came out to us and said your waitress is complaining that you yelled at her, The patron told us she was there each time I came in and said "You never raised your voice and you should tell the manager all the employees are very rude" We had to find another server to refill our drinks. Kaitlyn passed by us we counted 11 times and never came back to check on us or bring our food. Had to find another waitress who said. The manager will be out shortly. NEVER saw the manager never got the check. I had to go in a third time this makes 4 times we had to seek service. By the way the way almost the entire resteraunt was now EMPTY! ALL the tables that were seated after us, a completely full resteraunt now EMPTY! I tried to explain what happened Kaitlyn popped over and LIED right in front of me saying "They have only been here 1 hour!" WTF! IS SHE OUT OF HER MIND? We got there sat down at 2:15 and its was at that time 3:55! We left at 4:05!!! Great food.. HORRIBLE SERVICE! The manager just made excuses for short staff, and said she knew NOTHING about an upset customer outside (Lie!) and the other waitress said " I spoke to the manager and she will be out to talk to you" but the manager is the bartender, who saw me and looked at me talking to the waitress several times, the one that the waitress complained to about me "Yelling about no food"! They didn't know it was going to be that busy today. (The entire town was having a scavenger hunt and Trick or Treat Bar Crawl! She never said sorry but gave us $14 off. NEVER AGAIN. These employees go FAR out of their way to treat customers that request food in under 90 minutes very badly so much that the waitress purposely held back out order. Do not upset the employees. The fact that the manager lied and ignored customer care is very disturbing. Look at the negative comments all about lack of service. Good food horrible...

A nice little place in a great location that brags of farm to table meats, which they have plenty of, but just for sale to be taken out, similar to a small grocery. You would expect some great items on their menu considering all of the great meat that they have access to. We have been there three times. The first time for cocktails, which I have to say are very good. The second time for dinner which was very disappointing. Instead of a great dinner menu as expected, we were given what in every respect was a lunch menu, which is fine when you want lunch, but there was 4 of us and we were hungry. This menu gave you a choice of boring sandwiches, not all were available by the way, and burgers. A few unexciting salads were thrown in. I actually asked my guests if they would rather go somewhere else.Unfortunately they decided to stay. So…..first drinks, which are very good. They have a nice selection of cocktails and don’t scrimp on the alcohol. Waitress was fine, took our orders, and wrote them down. Now, when a waitress writes down your order, there really isn’t much of an excuse to get it wrong, but several of us got wrong items in our orders. As for the quality of our food, there was nothing farm to table about it. I am convinced that an Uber pulled up out back and dropped off our order from five guys and this place just threw it on a plate. They were normal burgers and fries . One of our party got burnt sweet potato fries. Very disappointed. Since we were visiting and no other restaurant was open for lunch, I took a friend for a quick lunch there a few days later.it was not my first choice believe me, but the only place open. Not only did the waitress mess up our drink order, but she managed to mess up our food order. Thank goodness we were drinking or I might have made a scene. Cuyahoga falls is a great place, restaurants like this should do better. Won’t return to this...

This was my second time at a Farmer's Rail: the first time was at the Hudson location, this time at the Cuyahoga Falls one. I called mid-afternoon today (Friday) for a res for 3 tonight and was surprised they took us. It was crowded when we arrived, but we were seated right away (6:30 p.m.), and the place filled up quickly with standing room only. We got our beer order in then waited 30 to 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When the server, who was nice, stopped back at about the half-hour mark and we asked where our food was, she told us that it's often this long a wait on a Friday night as the kitchen is short-staffed. Another person, who seemed like the manager, stopped by 5 to 10 mins after that to half-apologize for the wait. When the food came (burgers), we liked it, although the "house fries" were those battered fries that are pretty much what to expect now at most restaurants, I guess because they stay crispy longer, but I hate them and was expecting "house fries" to be something hand cut or made there (I'll bet they were frozen). Although I always leave a 20% tip when I dine out, I left a 10% tip tonight because, although it wasn't the server's fault, it took so long for the food to arrive. Also, I didn't like that there were screens everywhere, the "brioche bun" was dry, and, again, the fries were not to my liking. My plan is to go back again in a year or so but on a weeknight, if they are still open. Harsh review? Well, if you're going to charge premium prices, you'd better deliver. Experiences like this, which seem to be becoming the norm, make me wonder why I go out at all when I can prepare a better quality meal for a third the price at home. Honestly, if Culver's served beer, I would just go there for all...
