Boban — Restaurant in Cypress

I enjoyed the crepe place that was here before but always felt bad that the place’s parking lot was along a pretty busy part of valley view and in a pretty awkward location, being next to the intersection. I was worried that the location's "out of the way-ness" would impact future businesses who took the spot. However, the cafe was able to use it completely to their advantage, making the parking a lot nicer and prettier and creating a wonderfully appealing, comfortable interior. Even though the seating area isn't as big as other places, it doesn't feel crowded at all with the smart use of the building's large windows, the open space around the building, and the choice of simple and elegant decor. There are also a lot of succulents and similar plants outside, and inside there are beautiful orchids behind the register and small fake plants on the seating tables and around the seating area. The lovely interior perfectly compliments the cafe's drinks and Bánh mì, which are wonderful in their own right and prepared very quickly. I got the sea salt Thai tea and it is ideally rich as Thai tea should be and not watered down at all, something that I've been encountering recently with other boba places. I'm not a fan of banh mi but this place changed my mind. A charming, modern, & minimalistic location with delicious banh mi and drinks. My friends and I enjoyed it so much, we went back for seconds. We have been here multiple times since their opening. The banh mis are regular sized with a well balanced meat to veggies ratio. I enjoyed how the bread wasn't super hard compared to other banh mi.

I ordered the: --Au Jus Beef banh mi. Juicy and tender meat packed with flavor. --Scrambled Egg banh mi. I'm not a big fan of eggs but these eggs were fluffy, creamy, and surprisingly delicious. --Sea Salt Original Thai Tea. Perfect amount of sweetness.

Helpful customer service. There are water cups available. Cashier and kiosk (ipad) ordering options. The Bathroom is clean and spacious. I walked into your guys sandwich shop. Both kiosks were already full. People were swiping trying to figure out what they wanted to eat and hardly knew what I wanted to eat. I asked the lady behind the counter. She could take my order right in. She says it’ll be a few minutes for me to take your order. and then she went on back to do whatever she was gonna do he can order doesn’t take that long. I just wanted to buy a sandwich and try you guys out never come back.You guys are brand new. I don’t understand why you would just leave a customer waiting. this is my new businesses feel all the time they’re so focused on the wrong stuff and not focused on treating a customer as well.
