HAI VAN PHO & ROLLS — Restaurant in Cypress

So far, so good! Affordable prices for tasty Vietnamese food. I dropped by a couple of times to order some rolls and bahn mi, and it didn't disappoint. The menu offers a simple selection of Vietnamese classics. I ordered a spring roll and a grilled pork roll. Both were freshly prepared and came with dipping sauces. Currently, they have a BOGO for 50% off the rolls.

Although there are only two options for the bahn mi sandwiches, I ordered a grilled chicken baguette and a grilled pork baguette, and both were delicious. The meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the bread tasted fresh, with a crispy crust and a soft inside. My favorite of the two was the grilled pork. Each baguette sandwich was also $6, such a great deal (in 2025)!

I've yet to try the noodle soups or rice dishes. There are also refreshing beverages from sodas, teas, and Vietnamese coffee.

$6 baguette sandwiches! Wow! Delicious even 2nd time around! They accommodate the Vietnamese sandwich with fried egg for me even though its not on the menu. Yummy and fresh! The Shrimp spring roll was also made fresh not like those premade ones you'll find at other places. The shrimp was warm and had the look and flavor of being sautéed vs the pre boiled shrimp at other places. Egg rolls standard good, Thai ice tea good too!

I looked at Google Maps and thought, I don't remember that being there! They just opened Feb 12.

Got the short rib and Rib eye pho and they are both great. I took it to go and everything was thoughtfully packed and the Sriracha and Hoisin sauce came in sauce cups which my wife and I appreciated because we dip the meat.
