I visited on 1/10/24. I was excited because I hadn’t been here in a long while. We were seated in a booth in the bar area (which is my favorite area to sit in) & our waitress was Jessica. Her customer service was great. She was very attentive and professional. I ordered a Maui margarita and it was delicious. It comes with a cactus juice shot. We also received the infamous crescent roll with the sweet butter melted over the top. It’s 1 per person. I’m not much of a sweets person so I have mine to my guest but she liked hers very much. For our appetizer, we got the spinach dip that comes with tortilla chips and chunky red salsa. I didn’t partake in either but I do know the salsa tastes good from previous experiences. My guest found the spinach dip hearty and tasteful. For my entree, I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes ( brown gravy) & sweet baby carrots. The meatloaf was my favorite dish from them when they first introduced it on their menu. Even though it too had gravy over the top, this time it was very dry and overcooked. The baby carrots were also overcooked and mushy which was off putting. Jessica did let me swap them out for another mashed potato with gravy. Both mangers did visit our table and check on us which was nice and made us feel more welcomed. I will go back but I won’t be ordering the meatloaf. It’s a bit disappointing but I will try to find a new favorite dish.

Where do I start? Seats were wet, yes both of them (booth), I had to use one napkin from my utensils bundle, used the napkin to clean the seats, noticed the silverware was totally dirty....told the waitress to get us a new set. Order 2 painkillers, tasted just like bitter alcohol, (been to 3 cheddars in Houston, this one will be 4th) none of them make the painkillers taste like that at all, IDK if they are a franchise or not, but if people enjoy this drink here they don't know what they're missing, the real drink is awesome. Anyways, we also order spinach dip (which came with a lot of butter for some reason) it was so liquidy instead of it regular firmness, order steak (which was good) and full rack of ribs (super dry), my wife order unsweetened ice and some A-1 sauce, waitress brought sweet tea and an empty bottle of sauce....had to talk to the manager, she was going to swap my ribs for some new ones, as I was eating my 2 sides which were "ok" took a bite out of my broccoli casserole and bit into something hard, it was a piece of hard plastic, had to call the manager again, I showed her and she knew exactly what it was, she said it was a label from the pan, which I have no idea what that meant....anyways, at the end of the day everything sucked in that restaurant.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating here for the first time. It was very busy when we came so there was a 30 min wait for our table since we were a big party ,but it was worth the wait. Although it was busy I was happy it wasn't overly loud. Great menu selection! Our waitress was courteous, efficient and did a great job. Yes, the rave about their croissant appetizers as stated from the reviews is absolutely correct, they are to die for. Their strawberry lemonade is delightful with fresh strawberries inside. I enjoyed their spinach dip very much too! I ordered the grilled salmon with the bourbon sauce with corn and a baked potato. I savoured every bite of the salmon and they did well to keep the sauce separate to add on at your our taste. I definitely recommend the salmon with the bourbon sauce. We ordered a slice of chocolate cake with ice cream that was a wise decision so delicious. Despite how full we were we still managed to eat that gigantic slice. The only complaint I had was we had called to make a reservation and ended up waiting super long on the phone for the hostess to pick up that is something I hope they will work on. Other than that I plan to be back.

We (a family of 4) visited this location today 2/14/23 around 5:30-6:00pm. When we first arrived; there were several tables and booths available and no wait line. We were sat in a middle isle with 2 chairs sticking out blocking the pathway. Before we sat, I politely asked “Sorayah” the person who was sitting us if we could please move to a booth which she then she checked with a manager named “Tracy” and came back saying that they were really busy due to Valentine’s Day and that we couldn’t move, even though there were several open booths. I asked her about a booth that was open right across and clearly available to which she responded “I think it’s reserved”. We were ok with staying in the table after asking, however the waitress that we had was having trouble walking around us before even bringing the drinks out and we asked again if we could move to a booth, she told us she didn’t have any available in her areas, but she went and asked the same manager Tracy. Tracy responded to our waitress with “If we want a booth we can wait up front.” Few minutes later, Tracy then came up to the table and asked “you want a booth? And we said yes thinking she was going to move us, but when we said yes, she then said, “Sorry, you have to wait up front if you want a booth (While there were clearly booths available) She acted like we couldn’t just wait in the table that they had already put us at or moved us to one of the booths that were available. We told her again that it was ok after she loudly and rudely told us we could wait in the front even though they had open booths and we already had our drinks, a free bread from our waitress because the people sitting in the same table we were at had ordered, but moved to a different place. We stayed in the table since they were clearly not going to get a booth no matter how many times we asked. However, when the next guests of a different ethnicity arrived and they tried to sit them at the table across from us, she asked for a booth and Sorayah was quick to give her a booth no questions asked. Once we saw this, of course we had to speak up. It was unfair that we had asked for a booth 3 different times since our arrival while there were open booths and everyone else BUT us were able to sit in a booth without questions when they asked for a booth. Tracy kept apologizing to my husband and tried to give us a booth after everything had happened. We had barely received our drinks and not even touched them, but had to leave due to the horrible experience within those first 10-15 minutes of the situation evolving. We were discriminated against for no reason by Sorayah, Tracy and another short manager with Curly hair who my waitress talked to and she then tried to give me 2 $10 coupons to make up for the situation. I told her (short manager with curly hair) that her that I wasn’t going back to that location and she was quick to literally snatched them back from my hand. I told her I would still use them just not at that location she said, “No, these are only good for this location.” I asked for corporate’s number and she gave me a business card of a branch manager who was not there and phone number that goes back to that same useless location. We will definitely not be visiting this location ever again due to the discrimination we received as a family. I will update once I hear back from corporate, but this was definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had in a Cheddar’s after years to of being a customer.

Red Lobster will definitely have my business tonight. WAY BETTER CHOICE AND...

Clean Dining Area. Slow service! Delicious food! Big portion sizes Delicious drinks! A+ Friendly wait staff! Loud noise level. Energetic atmosphere! Very busy! Understaffed! Spacious Dining Room. Spacious parking lot.

I highly recommend the Beer-Battered Shrimp Platter, which comes with two sides of your choice. I must admit that the shrimps in this dish were delicious! They were plump and cooked to perfection. The batter on the shrimp possessed a soft and mildly crunchy coating and was flavorful. For my sides, I ordered the broccoli cheese casserole with seasoned rice. Guys, when I tell you that both sides were delicious, especially when I paired the two together and made myself a broccoli cheese and rice casserole. It was spot-on and fulfilling.

Appetizer: Cheddars Trio 4/5-Stars Entree: Buffalo Chicken Wrapper 4/5-Stars Entree: Smokehouse Burger 4/5-Stars Entree: Classic Cheeseburger 4/5-Stars Entree: Beer-Battered Shrimp Platter 5/5-Stars

Overall, it was a great dining experience. The food is delicious and tasty. Shoutout to Jonah, our server! Although service was a little on the slow side, he was professional, polite, and friendly. It's been years since I've visited Cheddar’s, and I must say that I enjoyed the overall vibe of this particular location. I was accompanied by my daughter and one of our coworkers and they both had a great time and enjoyed their food as well. Highly...
