I love my HEB and prefer shopping there, but several things are way off since the pandemic. First and foremost... the Personal Shopper carts are WAY out of control! Always in the way, blocking the aisle, end-cap and especially the Dairy area. Photo below of a Personal Shopper cart that was left blocking the entrance/exit of the produce area by the apples. HEB needs to figure out a better way to service its In-Person customers better without blocking them at every turn. I get curbside and the competition (what they do/dont, turnaround time, pickup windows, etc.) but stop making it a pain for your customers that spend the time coming to the store to actually shot in person! The deli counter is frequently wiped out (supposedly issues with Boars Head... however Kroger is fully stocked). The meat section while stocked, isnt what it used to be (unless you go to the butcher counter where the good stuff is).

Update; Why does it feel like every time I come into this H-E-B? There is customers that have their loose dogs that are not service animals in the store??? It is against The law and it is also against the national food regulation safety guidelines. It is not sanitary to have non-working service animals around food that people are buying to eat and prepare for their families. These dogs are not trained. They will pee and shit on the floor or better yet, put their mouth on food that we are purchasing for our families. Do better H-E-B stop letting people bring their everyday pets inside of the stores where we purchased food for our families Went to grab a few things tonight since the last time I came in and same thing … different night 2 more customers with their regular pets in the grocery store

Great customer service.. lines move fast.. curb side pickup. Update 7.17.22 This store in stocked with everything, as far as I can see. It's busy Sunday around 1 ish. No wait at the SEAfood counter. 2 people ahead of me at SELF CHECK OUT. I checked MySelf out Fast 🤣🤣🤣 Many people are coming and going. There's plenty of parking. P.S. Stop & Smell The Roses🌹🌹 💐. ENJOY LIFE ✌️ Omg.. I get 5 points to update this post 🤣🤣🤣 I was at HEB today. Feb 26, 23. Everything looks back to normal. Oh, wait, minute. The store is now covered with carts from the HEB staff filling up all the orders that will get picked up or delivered. There is no line in the self check out. I walked past all the checkout lines with the cashiers. Many of the lines had no line. Checked out 1.47 pm

I initially gave one star because I was wrongfully denied service at HEB business center (Western Union). After my dispute being drugged out and i'm being told "they will call you today", for over a week. I finally received a call from the district manager for this HEB. He asked me what he can do to make it right. I responded "just have the employees involved apologize....that's it". I did not ask for gift cards, food, money, or for anyone to even lose their jobs. That's not going to build character at all and their jobs is what support them. I wanted a simple, easy, free but enlightening, apology for turning down service off of a blank assumption. He told me, "NO, I can apologize but I am not going to have my staff going back and forth." I said that i won't say a word and will just listen, all I want is a apology. He said no I'm not going to make them do that. At this point, I am amazed that he is willing to punish them or whatever goes on, but a apology is too much. I compared stepping on someones foot and the person behind them saying they apologize. There is a huge problem when you rather give your left foot than have any of your employees apologize. Is there that much pride behind your title.... I do know, no matter the job you have or give, You are always in a position to build character. We are training our children, employees and peers, not to be remorseful or even not to pretend to be. I feel this district manager really felt and feel his decision is the right one. Unfortunately I do not and will present a nice presentation in the future, to use as a "what not to do". This is a lesson for me also and I now see the type of ideologies present in minimum wage facilities. Just because you pay employees next to nothing, doesn't mean you can't teach them priceless practices. Literally free to do but also a major character builder. I hope if any of the people involved ever get embarrassed, denied service wrongfully, The parties involved offer them a apology for what they did. I will tell you in most of the fields in Texas that pays over 15hr, Hospitality is present. There is no pride in my small facility and we go above and beyond to make sure our customers are satisfied. Even if that means asking our employees to apologize....though most do it on their own accord. Remember what you learned in grade school, A apology doesn't change the fact but presents new facts.

FYI: Denied service because of my skin color. I was sending $900 to my siblings for their kids school clothes. They heard me telling my brother to make sure the kids get clothes. The clerk walks around the counter and says he has to deny me service and the manager finally said it was because suspicion of money laundering. He never asked for my ID or even viewed the paper I filled out. He only seen I had lots of cash In my hand. I had just went to the bank to get the money out.....They seen a young black woman with more cash than they make in two months and thought it was suspicious. Mean while I am apart of several manufacturing and training businesses including my own. My household makes more money in one month than most make in a year. Maybe I don't dress like it but I feel comfortable not parading my blessings. Now rest assure Krogers will always have my business. My household no longer shops at HEB and it will remain that way. Sent money western union many times at Krogers with never a problem. Most likely because Krogers employees always greet you so they know how kind my heart is and I am a very giving person. My sisters and brothers are less fortunate and I assure almost every year I send either money or clothing for my nieces and nephew's. HEB lost loyal customers. Krogers...

Never would I have thought I would have to do a COMPLAINT on HEB , due to them being one of the most unbeatable grocery stores to shop with . I’ve been coming to HEB for years and have never had a issue with customer service or appreciation . For the past 6 months I have been visiting this location spending $1000’s of dollars and every time I am racially profiled as if I’m some animal that’s not welcomed . I usually brush it off because we are in Texas of course and some stuff you just can’t avoid. Which sounds crazy to avoid being racially profiled but this is a very Convenient location. Today I came into the store only to get candy from the self service isle.Upon my boyfriend and I choosing which candy we wanted ,my boyfriend was approached by Lydia. She asked me if I needed help in surpassed me and charged straight to my boyfriend in a very belligerent manner as well as being in his face giving him no personal space and asked him why was he stealing. Lydia began to tell him to get a bag and if He wasn’t purchasing that he needed to leave. My first thought was , is she serious and has she lost her mind to come into someones face as if she wants to fight them. As I kept asking her what was the problem and why would we steal candy she kept avoiding the fact that I was speaking to her and kept getting into my boyfriends face which was very unprofessional, disgusting, and discriminating. Now Indeed I know for a fact that H-E-B does not hire racist employees, because if so the Better Business Bureau as well as the CFPB needs to hear about this as well as HEB headquarters needing to certainly put some of the managers on a employee improvement plan. Upon going back and forth with Lydia, I told her that I will just speak with her manager and she Thought it was laughable that I made that statement to her .I pay way to many tax dollars in this area to be treated as if I don’t belong in a grocery store. Once the situation was brought to the store managers attention , she was very nonchalant and careless and said she would talk with her . Not to mention every time I step foot Into this location I’m questioned ! I was recently asked if I paid for my water last week , EMBARRASSING ! Having a customer service position means to make the customer feel welcomed, comfortable and most importantly RESPECTED ! Not neglected , rejected and singled out from everyone else shopping ! I WILL DEFINITELY BE CONTACTING CONSUMER AFFAIRS REGARDING THIS MATTER ! this will not go unrecognized and it will come down on your establishment HEB . I will most definitely tell anyone I know that HEB hires RACIST , prejudice , narrow-minded , ill-mannered , uncivil , impolite human beings ! And to never step foot in this location if your of a minority , this is a underlining issue that needs attention and I will go through great lengths to make...

I literally go to this HEB like 3xs a week, but today I received the worse customer service after the cart my keys were in was taken by another customer. She was unaware that I was using the cart because I was at the ATM, so when I turned around the cart was just gone. I immediately asked a cashier to call the mgr, which she did. He proceeded to go to the customer service area and asked if anyone had turned in the keys, of course no-one had since it had just happened 2 min before. So he then spoke to another employee that looked like she might be an asst mgr and told her to go tell the guys outside with carts to be on the look out. She said ok and walked away so I too walked away to go make sure my car was still in the parking lot and to look around at the carts. After 15 min or so I went back to the customer service area looking for the mgr to see if he had heard anything, but I didn't see him. Instead I saw the young lady he had spoke to before so I asked her what was going on and if she had heard anything. She said not yet and that those guys outside wld keep an eye out. So then I said ok so what do I do now? Where should I wait? And then she asked "well is the car still on the property?" I thought and probably said out loud, " well yea, cant move the car without the keys." (Was she seriously asking this stupid question) Then she asked me if someone else could come pick me up? Which I of course said no because my husband was at home with my 2 year old and my newborn son and I had both carseats in the car. I asked can you all look at the video and check cameras as you can tell I was desperate. And her and another young asst then said no because it would take too long. So I said ok well then nevermind you all are no help and walked away. I understand it is my fault in some sort of way cuz my hand wasn't on the cart, but I am your freaking customer and I just felt like there was no concern at the time I needed help. They never even asked what they looked like or made some kind of an announcement. Something...anything! Anyway I found my keys walking around the whole damn store and looking at every cart that went by me. I just think you could've handled it better. This is my first review ever given, but I was just in shock with their lack of concern and compassion. So next time I lose anything at your store I'll just look for it myself instead of...
