I ordered on the mobile app. I waited at minimum 20 mins while watching many cars pull up or go thru the drive thru after me and be serviced. Then, my order disappeared from the screen and app. Finally after inquiring, and still yet another customer being served before me, I received my order. However, I didn’t get the full order. Now, I ordered 5 slush (which included a lemonberry slush float) and a pretzel. Easy right? Nah, I was told that the lemonberry was no longer available (even tho it's still on the app) and that I could get a refund thru the app. Now see that particular slush was for me. Although there was another slush that was incorrect, I didn’t mention it since my husband probably won't trip and the kids just wanted something cold. The pretzel was not hot or fresh but whatever. The lemonberry slush tho, that was for me and I didn't wait 20+ mins for a refund. Well I put 3 stars instead of one because Anthony was nice, explained the situation and attempted to make it better by making the slush. For that reason, I will give this Sonic location another chance and just blame Covid 19 like I've done everything else. Hopefully I won't have this experience again so further actions won't be needed.
Update: Initially, I gave this location 3 stars because of the customer service. I returned a yr later not realizing I already had a bad experience (previous review). We’ll, the white guy brought me back the same burnt pretzel from before. Then he answered his phone and put his finger up signaling me to hold on. I looked around for cameras because this had to be a joke. He continued to walk around with his phone in his hand looking down. The poor manager was nice but still brought back an over cooked pretzel. I just gave up smh. If sonic can’t train properly and hire better employees, just shut the location down. Read moreWhy is there no ZERO to give. I simply cannot contain my anger at this location any longer and honestly with every fiber of my being believe that this location needs to be closed down. I have had nothing but bad experiences here in the past and I do everything possible to avoid this location but today was unexpected. I placed a mobile order to a different location but the email displayed this location. The app clearly displayed the location I wanted and when I got there the manger said it was not at that location. When I checked my email receipt, this location was listed, my heart sank. I drove to this location and it just got SO much worse. I was unable to check in on the app so I pulled into a stall. I waited 5 minutes before someone came on and I told them the app was not working. After waiting for 25 more minutes I started to leave without my order (which was just two slushies) and noticed no one was in the drive thru for the first time so I pulled up. The person at the window quickly handed me my order....kind of. I had ordered two different sized slushes but she handed me one larger one. I was so angry I took it and left. The slush had been sitting there the entire time. It was white ice with the syrup that had settled to the bottom. I tried to mix it but that was a waste. I tasted it and it was so watered down that I had to toss it out. I have rated the app and will be addressing the other location as well but there was no excuse for what happened. Read moreGot there to order, first thing I asked the lady taking the order was " is it still happy hour?" She stated "Yes". I proceeded to order. She then read my total. I reminded her to of the happy hour price, she then stated " Happy hour is over " . I insisted she give me some type of discount because we were there waiting before happy hour was over . Long story short she talked to her manager and they gave me a discount for my order. The lack of professionalism had me upset. After they gave me the discount, she went to sit outside and laugh and talk to her manager and another worker sitting outside as if there weren't cars waiting to be served. Which would explain why I was waiting so long for 3 simple slushies and I didn't catch happy hour. There was only one worker running orders and his name is Devonte. I told him if i had cash on me I would tip him really good because he's the only one taking his job seriously and attending to every car outside waiting for their order. The manager and the other girl should be relieved of their duties. With so many cars waiting , the manager should have been helping Devonte. Her lack of leadership is why the other girl who took our order felt comfortable sitting outside having a conversation as if if was slow.
