John's Cypress — Restaurant in Cypress

Went there today 2/11/14 for dinner.Ordered a Southwestern chicken club combo, and my wife had a bacon avocado cheeseburger and a glass of water.The SW club was lukewarm,the bread was soggy,the chicken breast was easily one third of the size it was the last time we were there,(before remodeling).The price for the combo went up 3 dollars The fries were not the thick hot ones we were used to.They were generic thin ones-and they were soggy too.My wife's burger was also lukewarm and soggy.Looks beautiful inside,the soda machine is a novel idea-don't quite know who they are catering to now,,but all in all we were disappointed with the quality of the food and the

I loved my breakfast from this restuarant. The places layout was a little strange but the food was incredible. I ordered French Toast with scramble eggs and sausage links. I normally order bacon from restaurants because sausages from restaurants make my stomach upset. However, even the sausage links were outstanding. I prefer sausage to bacon when I make my own breakfast but at restaurants they upset my stomach,so wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. Best tasting sausages I had in a long time if not ever. The French Toast were dipped in the batter perfectly and cooked well. The meal was serviced hot and even after driving home the food was still warm. The service was excellent and I was greeted with a smile. I was served quickly and the prices were inexpensive. I've been coming to this local spot for quite a while now, and it continues to impress me every time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a clean, welcoming environment and a staff that truly understands the meaning of great customer service. Over time, I’ve tried a number of different items on the menu, and I can honestly say that the food here is consistently amazing. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Out of everything I’ve had, the Harvest Salad stands out as my absolute favorite.
