Firehouse Cafe

We stopped by because of the food reviews and it didn't disappoint. At first it was a bit rough. We got seated quickly and the same man that pointed us to the table stopped by a minute later asking about drink order and we had a question about an item on the menu. He quickly replied he was not the one to answer those questions that our waitress would. She took a few minutes to show up. I did get a coffee and after I had started drinking my wife pointed to a piece of dried food stuck in the handle. I tried to wipe it, but it was pretty caked in, so I let it be and grabbed from the other side. But then the waitress got to us and was friendly and the food portions were huge for a very good price. And the most important thing, it tasted great. All in all we could have had a better start, but the things that happened to us could be one off situations, but if the food is not good or the attention of the waitress is not right, that is hard to fix so I am giving it 5 starts. I would certainly recommend.
