I tried this location with my boyfriend last night for dinner for the first time and overall it was pretty good. They made a mistake on one of our orders and the owner personally brought out the wrong dish and told us it will be on the house since it was their mistake and still gave us the correct one which I thought it was very nice and good customer service. We had ordered some Jjamppong and to be honest it didn’t taste the same as other locations and it didn’t look quite the same…unfortunately we didn’t really like it as much. I think they added too much hot pepper powder and maybe some hot pepper paste sauces not the chili oil. It wasn’t as savory. However, all the other dishes were good. Especially the stir-fried Jajangmyeon and sweet and sour chicken. As far as the service, the two female servers were very nice and friendly and attentive. I do want to mention that the TV was little bit too loud but it was not a big deal. Also, the servers were wiping the tables when we were still eating our food and the cleaning product she was using was very strong so it was messing up with my appetite. I hope they wait until at least customers finish eating first before starting to clean up. Other than that I would go back and try other dishes and do recommend this Paik’s...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Paik's Noodle in Cypress, and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
The menu features a diverse selection of Korean-inspired noodle dishes, and everything is made fresh to order. I tried the spicy seafood noodle soup, and it was packed with flavor! The broth had just the right amount of heat, and the shrimp and squid were perfectly cooked.
The service was impeccable; our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations based on our preferences.
Don’t skip out on the banchan (side dishes)—they added a wonderful variety to the meal and were a perfect complement to the main dishes.
Overall, Paik's Noodle is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Korean cuisine. I can’t wait to return and try more of...
Read moreI went back to this place yesterday and I want to mention couple of things and hope they value my feedback. I had ordered cream shrimp and it was very different than before. I ordered same dish in the past but it was cooked differently this time. They battered the shrimp and deep fried it. I know it’s not supposed to. The batter was thick as well and not crispy. They didn’t put enough sauce over the shrimp either. I was disappointed and regret ordering it and not saying anything before I left. The jajagmyun was okay could be better. It tasted more like an instant one. I decided not to go back to this location anymore and just stick with the first location on blalock from now on which is much better. Maybe this explains why they don’t have too many customers every time I go to this...
