Today I went to the Subway at 9522 Huffmeister rd Sutie 600 Houston Texas 77095. After ordering my 4 footlong sandwiches, two jalepeno chips, and two cookies to go. They customer in front of me had a challenge with their credit card not working. We then proceeded to attempt to charge my order of $45.83 for over an hour long. Trying to tap, it, trying to insert the card, trying to manually enter the card. The manager even used my phone to enter the order online which was quite time consuming and the card would still not work. She was simultaneously on the phone with their " tech guy," trying to figure out the problem as apparently it did not work for 3 customers prior to me. Instead of telling me ahead of time machine wasn't working. The Manager and employees took time trying to run my card over and over again. Then they told me I need to go to a debit machine and get cash. After an hour in the store I did not feel I Should go to the store and get charged a debit fee and drive back to the Subway and get my order. I asked the manager for a gift card for waisting an hour of my time and she refused and said it wasn't Subways fault their machine wasn't working. She then got loud and rude with me and I got rude back to her. I asked for a managers phone number she said I am the manager and then said the complaint number was on the door. The only number on the door was for interested future employees stating contact Blanca. I asked for a district manager or customer service number and was refused and rushed out the store. This is unacceptable. The "manager' a Spanish woman would not give her name and had no name badge, was rude, belligerent and unprofessional. All I wanted to do was pay for my sandwiches and leave and instead was treated unfairly and rudely and waisted an hour of my time in good faith thinking they would figure it out and they did not figure it out and I left hungry and mistreated. This manager acted racist, rude and unprofessionally and I felt bullied while she took my card and phone trying to enter online order on it unsuccessfully and then rushed me out the store. I usually go to Subway one a week and have never been treated like this at Subway or any store on the planet. Something needs to be done about this woman, and I would like to be compensated for all the time I waisted trying to get sandwiches for the family. Read moreI just came here 7/16/17 about 8pm And the employee was sitting down with his boyfriend blowing up ballons i look around the place and tables are dirty and im shocked now finally once he got behind the counter he didnt say 1 word to me just stared at me until i told him what i wanted never not once did he ask me if i wanted my sandwhich toasted or not so i had to ask again finally at this point im pissed after my sandwhich came out the oven he aggressively tossed it down and stared at me again didnt say anything so i go ahead and start telling him what i would like on my sandwhich this kid wasnt paying attention to me he put vinegar on my sandwhich and i did NOT ask for vinegar so he threw all the veggies in the trash and started over by the time he wrapped my sandwhich he rang me up and didnt tell me my total thank god im not blind or i would of never knew how much was my total was. Finally I asked him " Do you hate your job?" His response was him pointing at the clock and said im about to go. So i said ok well thank you but you sure do act like you hate your job and thats not healthy. I got my drink and walked out as his boyfriend starred at me the whole time. If i could rate this place for ZERO stars i would because my experience was so horrible i lost my appetite and didnt even eat my food i paid 8 dollars and change to be starred at like i was bothering this employee while he was sitting down i even took a picture if i could talk to his boss i would in a heart beat i watched 3 people walk in after me and walk out like theyve had the same experience. Read moreThis place is hit-n-miss. Sometimes good friendly service other times not. If you go during a busy time e.g. supper, they'll often have only 1 employee working. We went last night and the employee working was OBVIOUSLY new. I asked what was in a Subway Melt. 1st: he had no idea what I was talking about (he had ESL and had difficulty difenterating between meal & melt). 2nd: he then had no idea what was on it; as it's not on their 'cheat sheet'. 3rd: when I went with something I could read off the menu board what was on it he didn't know which turkey was supposed to be on it. When he was making our 2nd sandwich I googled the Melt. I showed him and he offered to make it for me. I declined since he already had the other made and I didn't want it to go in the trash. If only I would've googled it 1st. I could've saved the hassle! With that being said, he was nice and he tried to be helpful. Too bad whoever was supposed to be training him wasn't around. This place has high employee turnover. Every time we go in there's someone new. Perhaps it's because management is nonexistent, and like or experience, the employees have trouble...
