Hartz Chicken Buffet — Restaurant in Texas

The food is good and MOST of the time the chicken is hot out of the grease. My biggest issue is that the man and woman (maybe husband and wife and maybe the owners) are super rude. Pre-Covid we used to come here a lot because we lived in the area but after COVID we had become used to not eating. The previous staff was very nice and helpful. I'm not sure if there are new owners or what, but I went the first time in a long time about 2 weeks ago and the lady seemed to have an attitude when I asked for 2 more ketchup to which I responded, I will gladly pay for them to which she declined. It was kind of late that night so I figured I would give her the benefit of doubt. I got home and the chicken was so dry that I literally threw it all aware and figured I just wouldn't go back. Today I had a taste for their French fries and this is the only Hartz in this are and I have always liked their chicken. So against my previous declaration and better judgement, I went back today and got a meal. When I asked the man/husband for 2 salt packets and he audibly sighed like I asked for something outrageous. It's not late, it's the middle of the day and so I am not going to try to justify their rudeness this time. They change owners about 2 to 3 years now.. It is not the same.. This is the worse that Hartz have ever been..

The workers does not know how to take your order. The owner tries to cheat you by confusing your order so she can charge you more. And if you cancel an item you're actually force to take the item and said the order has been made NO Changing your Mind!! What the?? The buffet line is limited.. Ok listen to this.. When you're at at buffet don't you just go and pick out your selection?? Well in this case you can't.. You have to ask for the chicken.. Once again what the?? And there are hardly any sides in display.. You literally have to ask for it.. Since this place is now run by a new owner it is not the same.. The owner is rude!! The owner tries to nickel and dime you.. The owner is very unprofessional.. And the owner is always arguing with her employees in front of customers.. Hartz chicken does not taste like Hartz chicken how it's supposed too..

This place needs help!! Or new ownership.. This location is ruin Hartz name and taking it to the grave.. Corporation really needs to step in..

Visit this place to purchase some fish, and I get home and bite in to the fish inside is raw not cook. Call Hartz to let them know I just purchase the fish and would like a refund the next day the young lady said ok just bring the fish in the box back with you. The next thing I know the older lady calls me and say you must bring fish back to night so she can refry the fish that's not cook, we tried explain we live in cypress that was not a short trip for us, but at this point I am upset the way the person is treating us I drive back to hartz place the fish on the counter and tell the older lady do you really think I wanted to keep your uncooked not fresh fish and get a refund. My next question to her was to grab a piece of the fish they prepared for me to take home to my family and taste it and see if she would feed it to her family if nothing else pull it a part and see what is inside the fish they are selling customers. Very rude no...
