Jerry D's 2.0 — Restaurant in Dacono

We just got back from an anticipated wonderful lunch at Jerry D’s 2.0. Well unfortunately we were highly disappointed. We learned after the first visit for the new owner, that we will visit for drinks only and not for food. First off, Sunday afternoon and the band didn’t show up, they prob knew they weren’t coming since it is Sturgis week, but they did have music playing so it was fine. But we ordered a Beef burrito with green chili and then a cheeseburger with onion rings. The burrito came and it was ice cold, not even Luke warm, ice cold. We sent it back, I ate my cold cheeseburger while he waited for his burrito. The second burrito came and it was cold again. They asked if he wanted something else so he ordered a cheeseburger which was cold also and burnt to a crisp. So we learned our lesson. There was No change in our bill, we were charged see everything , we still gave the waitress a 20% because it isn’t her fault. There was also two other people who sent their burritos back because they were cold as well. They left without waiting for other food, as their friends ate their food while they sat there. Sad deal. They definitely need a new...

Sooooo..... I took this bangin chick to this bar for some shuffleboard last night and the jelly bartender decided she was gonna close down two hours early (11pm) and cock block me... This place came highly recommended, but seriously? Just because I didn't flirt back with you when my girl went to the restroom? The other two couples at the bar top were pretty dissapointed when last call came at 1030pm... I get that it's a Monday night and business isn't off the hook... but I don't think I will come back again... and it's not even like we weren't drinking. Poor choice Lisa... poor choice... Aside from that, it seemed like a cool place. Minus the fact that all the signage outside was turned off at 930pm and it looked like an abandoned shack in the middle of bumb F egypt. I recommend anyone considering this place to check out Parrots instead. They don't have chalk for their pool stick and it still was a better choice. Seriously, how do you loose to a place who f'n doesn't...

My husband and I stopped by tonight for the very first time. I grew up in Dacono and have lived in the area for 23 or so years but have never stepped foot into Jerry D's, even pre covid. It had snowed the night before and morning of the night we went so we didn't get to experience the back patio. We sat at the bar and were initially greeted and helped by Kylie, one of the bartenders. Kylie got us our first drinks and started our tab and we were served primarily by Tina(?) for the rest of the night. Both Kylie and Tina were on the ball and great at what they do. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We will be going back again as we had a great experience and everyone was very friendly. I am unable to rate the food as we didn't order any food but we recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a relaxing and laid back time out as that is exactly what it was for us.
