Why does the worst Dunkin in America have to be the one closest to me? I've been putting off this review for a while just hoping it might get better, but after more than a dozen visits, today just solidified the utter and total disappointment that is this location. I work nights, so I usually go in the afternoon and the donut selction around 4 pm is almost nonexistent at that time, like everytime I go. Other Dunkins know how to bake donuts throughout the day; I don't think this one does. Today, I had the opportunity to go in the morning and was thinking, "surely they'll have donuts at this hour." Think again. They didn't have a single one of the specialty donuts that they are advertising (brownie batter). I typically go in, but today, I waited in the drive thru for absolutely nothing, because that's the only thing I wanted.
And, don't get me started on how many times my drink order has been messed up here. You order one thing, and never know what you're going to get. One time I ordered cold foam, and this girl just put whipped cream on top of my drink... I was like, "that's not cold foam." And, she honestly had no idea what it was. Like, don't just guess, but I think that must be the motto there: When in doubt, just add random stuff and hope for the best. Another time, an employee literally followed me out the door and told me he wanted to suck my toes.... like followed me out the door from behind the counter.
This was the last straw. I will not be going back here, ever. This location needs a total revamp of its management. The only good thing I can say (with the exception of toe sucker) is that the employees are...
Read moreWorst customer service EVER. I reached out to corporate who informed me (after they accused me of not visiting on the day I referred to so I had to provide my receipt as proof) that they would let the franchise know and someone would reach out within 48 hours. At least a week later I get an email from Joe Walters asking me to call him, which I did. His phone goes straight to a voicemail that is conveniently full, so I email him back and tell him that I tried reaching out and his vm was full and gave him my number so he could call. That was 4 days ago and still no call. Clearly the staff gets their professionalism directly from upper management. They were rude, bickering among each other. Not a care in the world that they not only were making me late for work due to a screw up on them, but they also made my daughter late to school. They were very non-apologetic and not in any hurry to correct the situation. I've been a loyal DD customer having their rewards and automatically adding value to my card any time it went under a certain balance. We ate there at a minimum twice a week, but NEVER AGAIN. I am all about supporting local business, but I will be taking mine down the road to Zephyrhills to the new Starbucks where the staff is trained on proper customer...
Read moreOrdered an ice chai latte, and 2 donuts French Cruller informed that they were out of Cruller, asked for 2 vanilla cream, they were out of them also, after my 4th request, I asked what kind of donuts do you have, and he began to give me an inventory of something like, 3 old fashion, 2 raspberries somethings and 4 chocolate cake, there was 2 or 3 other ones that were 1 of that kind. Then said, we basically have been out of donuts for 2 days. ???? I ordered an egg and cheese wakeup wrap. I was given a cup with something dark, and questioned it when handed out the window, was informed it was definitely a chi tea, when I took a sip, it was obviously coffee, extremly strong coffee,, I was told all chi was now made with 2 shots of expresso, I handed it to them and requested a frozen Matcha, was informed that Dunkin had discontinued all matcha, and all teas. ???? Was never offered my money back. Handed a bag with the remander of my order. As I was holding up the drive thru and was pressed for time, I just drove off. Once safety out into traffic, I reached into the bag to find, a wakeup wrap that was a piece of melted yet cold dried cheese, no egg. No napkin...
