Typically a cool place to vibe at after work due to the happy hour prices and good drinks. Service isn't top notch, but it gets the job done. I went on Thursday and I was highly disappointed in the customer service received and the food. WARNING: Don't order the nachos! Anyway, my friend sent back her nachos because the cheese looked to be microwaved onto the chips. Disgusting! She sent it back for something else. Another friend ordered the wings which weren't cooked all the way through. The waitress came back to our table to pass a message from the kitchen manager that he wasn't making anymore food for our table. So my friend who sent back the wings, couldn't order anything else. We spoke with the manager who stated there was nothing she could do about this. At this point, in my head, I'm thinking no service, no tip. None of us ever got rude with the employees. We finished our food and drinks then was presented with our check with had gratuity added. We all refused to pay the gratuity. The manager came back out and stated if we didn't pay, the waitress would have to cover and pay back the GRATUITY portion. I'm thinking, why would someone have to pay their own gratuity back. But at this point, again no service, no tip. We ended up all paying in cash (our food, drink, and tax price only)... The manager gets upset and slams the door on the patio as she exited the patio where we were seated. Oh and we got banned from coming back. They sent the bus boy to the patio to tell us to leave which we were already planning to do. I'm disappointed and hope they replace that manager, kitchen manager, and waitress. Oh I should add that other guest from other tables were complaining about the...
Read moreI'm not sure who in Bishop Arts requested this bar/grill, but this is the type of place that would of made more sense somewhere on Northwest Highway circa 2008.
303 Bar and Grill is every awful singles-bar cliché a person somehow managed to pack into one building. From the ridiculously loud music, to the just as equally loud, obnoxious bar flies screaming their best pickup lines over the god awful sound system.
And the staff. My goodness. If they're not sitting at a table hanging out with one another rather than tend tables, they are padding their tips when closing out your tab with a card (I found this out the hard way, and after reading the other one star reviews I take sad solace knowing that I wasn't the only one). They are strangely rude, lack basic food service skills, and seem to think that skimpy clothing is equivalent to good service. And one more note about the barflies, it was very obvious that some of them should have been cut off, but that didn't seem to register with the staff. Just a note.
I had the meatloaf which wasn't too bad, but I could have got something similar at Cretias with a way nicer ambience, and an actual polite staff. But being new to the area we're just trying out the local eateries, and coming to our own conclusions. So I just bagged it, and left.
I get that Bishop Arts is a popular spot with people looking for a goodtime, and for good reason. It has so much to offer. But this relic of an irresponsible era in nightlife needs to go. From the questionable bouncers, to the overserved patrons, it's kind of a wonder that the local community hasn't gotten together, and had an uncomfortable but necessary...
Read moreAvoid this place on weekdays!
My bible study group came here this past Tuesday (1/15/19) and it was awful. I have been here once before and I was satisfied but it was a weekend.
They close at 11 pm on Tuesday’s but when we arrived at 9 our server said the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and rushed us the entire time to hurry and order. I asked to speak to the manager and no one ever came. The food was luke warm and the place was a ghost town so I don’t understand why our server kept disappearing for such a long time.
He said because it’s slow there’re closing early and rushed us out. Piss poor customer service is an UNDERSTATEMENT! A party of 6 people come in on what looks like a slow night and you would think you would happily take the business but no. We had to keep asking someone If they could get our server only For us to ask for our drinks to be filled and then he never comes back and we have to ask him again when we see him. I mean I was so put off by this place.
We meet for bible study every week, what you could have had was loyal customers who come every week but instead everyone vowed to never visit this place or send business their way because they don’t appreciate their customers!
All I can say is don’t waste your time and money. They don’t honor their hours, the food was not tasty and partially cold, and the service is ridiculously TERRIBLE! AVOID...
