Allende Seafood Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Dallas

We came for a birthday lunch with family. I want to start off with the one good thing about the place… the entrees were okay!! I wouldn’t waste my time to come back and sit down to eat. Service wasn’t the best, actually probably the worst I’ve ever had. If you are expecting to be somewhere after eating here… change plans or don’t come. Total time we spent here was close to 3+ hours. We asked for silverware/napkins they brought out a few plastic forks and a few napkins. There were 9 of us. Our order was delivered to another table, then after someone began eating from one plate they realized they were giving the wrong table the food they removed one plate that hopefully wasn’t touched and brought it which was a few feet away to our table. The rest of the food was brought out several minutes apart, 2 orders were completely forgotten, and we had to ask multiple times/waiters where our waitress was. We had to ask again for silverware for the whole table so we could eat our food and more napkins. Took several minutes for them to bring that out so most of the food was already getting cold! 3 hours later I don’t know why we decided to order dessert, but we did and it took another 20 minutes to get to our table, the cheesecake they brought out had multiple mold spots that were clearly very obvious, and we still have not seen our waitress. Most important part first They charge a 15% gratitude without letting you know verbally or on the menu. 15% is the minimum I give a server anywhere, but just the fact they don't let me know that before hand just rubbed me the wrong way. They don't bring you a paper reciept so you can review it, it's on a tiny screen and good luck looking at it. As far as 3 star review the food was mediocre. The margaritas literally tasted like Kool aid no tequila, and after we complained about one we switched for a Michelada and we saw on the screen that the margarita was still on there. The fries for my son were cold. The seafood tower I will say was good. They did not have a seafood menu yet, and I know how much seafood places can be. But for 3 people and a child it was 200. We had seafood platter, a shrimp plate, a shrimp cocktail, chicken nuggets, an oyster plate, and 4 alcohol drinks. Definitely not worth the price. Plus after 6ish most of the parking spots are valet. My family and I took my mom there yesterday for her birthday celebration we had party of 12 that I tried to call before hand to make a reservation but I was never able to get a hold of anyone so two of my sons were the first to arrive and they spoke to someone and told them that they had a reservation for 10 so they emediatly put some table together and when we got there they brought out some balloons and a flower for my mom and then we all ordered drinks and they came out right away then we ordered our food and some of the food didn't come out all together... But when it came out it was soooo good it was definitely worth the wait the seafood was so fresh and the atmosphere was awesome they had a band playing and they were awesome and shortly after the band stopped playing karaoke started which was pretty cool too the waiter Jorge was very friendly and efficient all in all we all had a blast we will definitely be going...
