I stopped here and thought this would be a nice place for a dinner with the family. To be honest it was a great place with a good experience. It's a small hole in the wall down home feeling restaurant that serves so great southern cooking. The lady running the place was very nice and did a great job in making newcomers feel welcome. They did have a lot of people that looked like regulars that recommended food and the days they like because of the types of food they served that day. Me and the family tried a little bit of everything on the menu for the day's menu and we were happy with how the food experience went. They served fried chicken that was very juicy and sweet, there was saw mill white gravy and country fried steak which was pretty good and good enough to make you want to go back for more. There was smothered BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken which the kids really enjoyed. The veggies they served for the sides were cooked well and tasted a little bland but like no salt or butter added during the cooking. They were good but to be expected I feel since they did have a lot of older people there which can't have the salt content in their food. They didn't have that much in deserts to choose from but they did have some brownies and banana pudding that looked home made and tasted pretty good. They also had some ice cream bars to try also. They are closed on Mondays and close at 730 during the week so for a good dinner this place is well worth it. You definitely want to get there early in that their dining area is kinda small and cozy to say the least so want to get a seat while their rush is on you might have to wait, but with how the food tastes it would be worth the wait.

I've been here at least 3 times now and they are wonderful! The food is great, the staff is super friendly, and I always leave with a smile on my face. The inside is very bright and clean and sanitation is taken seriously here. I have gotten the to go option once and it is still a good deal about as cheap as McDonald's and much better quality. I love their fried chicken, macaroni salad, and banana pudding. They have a hot bar, salad/fruit bar, and desert bar. So good!

I usually like it, but here lately. If you arrive after 7:00 as you walk through the door they start telling you that they are gonna put all the food away and that you have to eat fast so they can be out the door by 7:30. Then proceed to remind u every few minutes that they are about to throw the food away. Other than that its an affordable good homecooking buffet.

1st time here, and it was actually pretty good.. (Thursday)I tried a little bit of almost all the meats they had.. they had, bbq, fried, and baked chicken. Fried boneless pork chops and country fried steak and meatloaf. All your typical hot sides, mashed pots..2 types of gravy, mac and cheese, greens, rice, cabbage, corn, beans, carrots, green beans etc..and your typical cold bar with lettuce and all your salad topping needs..mac and potato salad..2 types of bread, un sweet corn bread and yeast rolls..for dessert, they had some sort of strawberry cobbler, banana pudding, cheesecake bites,, jello, ice creams and I think they had brownies as well..the service was great. I enjoyed the southern hospitality right when you walk through the door and throughout our meal and when paying for our meal. The food was good. Not great, nor bad. It's was just simple country cooking. Not really seasoned but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't jazz up..my fiancé and I mainly enjoyed the fried pork chops, and I also really enjoyed the baked chicken, both were very tender and good flavor. I didn't like the meatloaf because the tomatoe paste topping was too sweet and the top of the meatloaf underneath the sauce was over cooked and hard..I saw a few people who got meatloaf, take the top part off..it's was just too hard, but the center of it was ok and had decent flavor. The hot sides were good, again, just needed salt.. M fiancé didn't like the mac n cheese. He thought it was too bland, which it was a little to me too, but again, nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix some. I did like the cheesecake bite, and the banana pudding and the strawberry cobbler were decent as well. All in all, I'd go again if I'm looking for simple...

We normally have a good experience and we used to come here often but today I was pretty upset being that we used to be regular customers but with financial you know burdens and all we don't go as much as we used to that and I have to watch what I eat would that being said we went in today with my son who's autistic we got him a Coke he had already eaten at McDonald's it was me and my sister and a friend who's a senior what happened to look at our receipt and we were charged for three buffets plus the senior we were charged for my son he was not eating I got a saucer with fruit he asked for it cuz he likes to play chef which he cut up the fruit and we were eating it I only usually eat one plate of food anyway but they charged us for an entire buffet for that little saucer of fruit although I told them it was my saucer of fruit and that he was cutting it and we were eating it I think there was only maybe a piece or two left on the saucer but we had to pay for an entire buffet for our son so I feel like we're not even welcome when he's there because they didn't put the charge on the receipt before he even had the fruit I normally like to eat there but today I don't...
