Banna Restaurant is a hidden treasure in the heart of Dallas. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by warm and friendly staff. The menu at Banna Restaurant is full of surprises. The taste and presentation are exceptional. I personally recommend the Dallas Tibsi. The meat is soft and seasoned to perfection, served with Injera, a traditional sourdough flatbread that complements the rich flavors wonderfully.

The service at Banna Restaurant is exceptional. The staff is not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations.

I am not rating the food but the costumer service. I called to place a to go order and the lady who answered the phone couldn’t really understand me I respectfully told her I don’t speak or understand Tigregna but she kept on talking to me in that language for a while ever after I asked her if I can speak to someone else who speaks English or Amharic. When I came to pick up the food of course it wasn’t really what I was expecting or wanted plus I waited about 15 mins to get my food after I arrived which doesn’t make any sense because I called 20 minutes prior to me arriving at the restaurant and placed my order. Nothing against the lady she was pretty nice when talking to her in person but this experience was very...

New Year's Eve 2024/25 was my first time having Ethiopian/Eritrean food; and I'm telling you Banna did not disappoint. The succulent lamb bathed in savory spices and veggie's was slow cooked to perfection with just enough heat to make it interesting yet not overbearing, a side salad, all placed on a generous bed of injera caused my taste buds to dance. My last great African dish was while visiting Johannesburg, and Banna's stirred my passion once more for the flavors of the Continent. Their lamb kitcha fitfit was love at 1rst bite, a romance I hope to soon ignite again.

Thank you for the hospitality and my regards...

This place is truly a hidden gem. As soon as you walk in, you’ll notice how immaculately clean it is. The staff is very friendly and made sure we understood what we were ordering. We tried the veggie and meat combo platter, which was more than enough for two people—we ended up with leftovers! When the food arrived, the staff pointed out the different items and asked if we had any questions about how to eat the food. The dishes were amazing and full of flavor. They also offer gluten-free options. Lastly, don’t miss the chance to try a new beer; we really enjoyed the Eritrean beer we had.

Read the reviews and decided to visit the establishment. Im so glad I did the food was sooo good. I ordered the vegetarian meat combo and my husband ordered the lamb with a side of collard greens. They give you so much food, I didn't even put a dent on my plate. Im glad I came to this restaurant, the food is plentiful, flavorful, and fresh. Also, the service was great. I will be back as this will be my go-to spot when visiting the Dallas area.

Banna is great Eritrean and Ethiopian restaurant offers an authentic and flavorful experience. The fresh injera pairs perfectly with rich dishes like Doro Wot, Zilzil Tibs, and the vegetarian platter. The cozy atmosphere, with traditional decor, enhances the cultural experience. Friendly staff provide excellent service, making guests feel welcome. A must-visit for anyone seeking delicious, home-style East African cuisine!
