I drove 40 minutes out of my way to explore this café because I love Habesha culture—at least, the warmth and hospitality I’ve experienced in Ethiopia. Unfortunately, this place was a major disappointment. I came specifically for the steak that had been mentioned in reviews, only to find out they don’t even have it. So, I settled for coffee, which was standard—nothing exceptional. But what really stood out was the lack of hospitality. When I walked in, I greeted them in Amharic, saying "Demnish," but the staff just stared at me. No smile, no greeting, nothing. The only person who acknowledged me was a cousin visiting from Ethiopia, helping out in the business. She was the only one who carried that traditional Habesha kindness. The others? Too busy on their phones to even look up. This place lacked the warmth and welcoming spirit that Ethiopian culture is known for. If you’re looking for good service or a friendly atmosphere, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again.

We stopped in for coffee while in the area. Coffee is some of the best in all of Dallas. Wife had latté and I had cappuccino. Both were amazing paired with sambusa (which is vegetarian and also delicious). Unassuming exterior gives way to instagrammable interior which is exquisitely decorated. Their music choice sets the mood and then their coffee arrives which is excellent. We’ll be back and I highly recommend you giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Was looking for a place to get a sweet treat for a customer and so glad I stopped here!!! They have beautiful pre made plates of treats and everything behind the glass looked delicious. Tomas asked if I wanted to try a sample, I was blown away at how delicious and fresh everything was…This is such a quaint and charming little cafe. I will be back. :)

You should check your receipt. They bring different order. Then there is a lady watching you having credit card machine in her hand asking if you ready to pay, immediately after you finish eating. After she added all orders, she picked the tips herself WITHOUT YOUR KNOWING asking to scan your credit card. You ask receipt, telling you can get text. Okay, I did. Now, I noticed something is wrong in her eyes. I start looking the server, the one she took our order. But our order was different and bring by different server. We just said, let's take it they did with egg maybe to look bigger. I asked where is she, to give tip because I know, did not do tip on my CC .the option was not there, when I scan my cc. The lady with cc machine, told me tip is already added. I was confuse, how and who did? Now, she was frustrated. She tried to say the machine, I can cancel, refund, if you want different way for tip, or if you want give more tip, ... I understand her frustration, b/c she knew what she did. YOU CAN'T DO & PICK TIP AMOUNT YOURSELF. She looks younger speaks good English the lady with cc machine. I was about to give tip cash double more than she steal me from my cc. I just...

This restaurant is hands down one of the best places for breakfast I’ve ever experienced! Every dish we’ve tried has been consistently delicious, made with top-quality ingredients that you can taste in every bite. Whether you're craving a classic breakfast or something with a creative twist, their menu has something for everyone. The food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying.

What truly sets them apart, though, is their exceptional customer service. You can tell that they genuinely care about their customers and go out of their way to ensure a positive experience every time. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves incredible food but also makes you feel valued as a customer. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for anyone looking for a great breakfast spot. We will definitely be ordering from them...
