Oh, the sweet, smoky allure of BBQ Chicken on Lower Greenville! As a former Richardson regular, I can confidently say that this new spot has stolen my heart (and my taste buds) in the most delicious way possible. First off, let’s talk about the ambiance. The Lower Greenville location has this vibrant, eclectic vibe that screams “good times and great food.” It’s like stepping into a BBQ wonderland where the air is perpetually filled with the tantalizing aroma of perfectly grilled chicken. And the views… oh the views! Now, onto the star of the show – the chicken. If you thought the Richardson location was good, brace yourself. The Lower Greenville spot takes it up a notch. The chicken here is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Whether you go for the classic Golden Original or the fiery Hot Spicy, each bite is a symphony of taste that leaves you craving more. But what truly sets this place apart is the service. The staff here are not just servers; they’re BBQ enthusiasts who are passionate about what they do. They greet you with a smile, make excellent recommendations, and ensure your dining experience is nothing short of spectacular. I don’t know any of their names yet, but gimme a minute and I’ll come back with the spicy edits on this review. In short, BBQ Chicken on Lower Greenville is my new go-to spot. It’s where flavor meets fun, and every visit feels like a mini celebration. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Your taste buds will thank you! 🍗🔥 Fwm!

I’ve been to many B.B.Q chicken franchise and Korean chimek spots from k-town to Texas. As a Korean, the moo (radish)eaten with the chicken to cut grease is essential and makes it “Korean fried chicken) It’s just basic! However, out of all the places, this specific spot disappointed me not once but TWICE. The size of the radish pieces were insulting lol. How is it cut down like three times the size of a normal cube of radish lol. This is beyond cutting cost. When customers are paying 30-40 dollars for wings, you get two little sauce cup size of radish but you’re going to chop the radish up to itty bitty pieces… it’s a chore to eat it. Very disappointing and embarrassing. Look at my photo of what you guys serve in real VS the posters of radishes you guys post as ads and supposed to be normal size lol.

I'm thrilled that one of the the greatest Korean fried chicken eating places has recently opened in lower Greenville! My group of about 12 people arrived for a weeknight dinner, and we were all seated with ease. The staff is very welcoming, and they did a great job of looking after us that evening. I tried a variety of flavors, and I must say that the honey garlic wings are the best—I used to love soy garlic, but the honey garlic is more effectively! If you want to try something a little unique, the boneless cheeseling is another favorite of mine. A serving of pickled radish is served with every piece of chicken. They cook the chicken to perfection, and one place in particular offers enormous slices! I'm thrilled for them and will most certainly return in the future!

Overall, 3 stars. Background music was too foreground. Chicken itself is great, but seems we missed the bus to flavor town. If the sauce game was stepped up and maybe prices adjusted down a hair (ideas on how below), I could see myself coming back here on occasion.

Alas, I may never know.

More details: Food wise, the chicken is great. Juicy, crispy, fresh and steamy as you bite in. However, the sauces and the customization options I found lacking. We tried 3 different sauces, which required us to purchase 3 individual baskets of wings. Other Korean Fried Chicken restaurants have optioned extra sauce on the side for a small fee, so to be told “we don’t do that,” was an inconvenience to both my curiosity and my wallet, considering $16/flavor for a Medium basket.

We tried 3 different flavors for the chicken, and each had little going for them. Special Sauce mostly just tasted sweet. Gangnam was better, but didn’t WOW me. Even the Wings of Fire, the “hottest Korean wings,” didn’t have a lot going for them. Not that they were so spicy that you couldn’t taste anything else - they weren’t even spicy.

As for the sides, the waffle fries and 소떡소떡 were good, if not a bit steep a price for what they are and the amount provided.

For a first time visit, I wasn’t that impressed. They do have good chicken, but man was the flavor of the sauces and the fact that I couldn’t sample some on the side a letdown. And, again, at $16 a basket with only one flavor choice, if you get a disappointing flavor like we did, there’s not much motivation to come back and try others. I’d highly recommend offering sauces on the side so customers can sample them and find what they like and be more...

GO TO THE CARROLLTON LOCATION I PROMISE IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE!!! I WILL NEVER SUGGEST NOR RETURN TO THIS LOCATION

Do not order a large wing box! The wings were under cooked and soggy. I HAD/HAVE AND INFORMED THE MANAGER that I could bring the entire order back in seeing as it wasn’t edible. He informed no need. Although it was a truly disgusting scene I still kept a good attitude about it thinking mistakes happen so I call and spoke with manager Richard who gave me false hope stating “Come on in I’ll remake it as you described” My description (Fried hard, flats honey garlic). Two days later I call to see if the order can be ready for pick up seeing as I am leaving my job that is around the corner!

Richard was not there, however, a manager by the name of Thaun was, he explained they can not redo my order as promised. States Richard did not in fact tell me that it could be done! To pay $40 for an unsatisfying meal is truly unfortunate. No one is on one accord so if your meal is wrong just go back in that moment or consider your money wasted. Even when I asked for a full refund the manager needed to verify if that was possible! HATED MY EXPERIENCE!

They try to blame the sogginess over the fact that it was takeout however, they kept trying to put the words delivery in my mouth, although I personally came to pick up my own order....
