Burger King — Restaurant in Dallas

I have worked in commercial kitchens several times and it is very obvious when a kitchen is not cleaned and well maintained by the way the food tastes and looks. I do understand that this is a Burger King, but there are still standards for cleanliness in a commercial kitchen that are required by state and, frankly should just be common sense.

When was the last time you cleaned your fryers? All the black specks are burnt food particles from where the fryers have not been cleaned. The drinks in the fountain need the syrup changed I need to look at their syrup to carbonation ratio because this tastes like carbonated water with a little bit of food coloring in it.

The place is hot, humid and the TV is blasting some ridiculous courtroom TV show at damn near full volume. When I requested that they please turn it down and possibly change the channel to something that wasn't completely mindless I was told no and the TV continued to be at max volume. If the remote or the TV was broken then unplug it, don't just use it to torture your customers.

So my recommendation is to avoid this place at all costs you less you like eating food that has been prepared in an unclean and disgusting environment that you can...

The establishment says open 24 hours and the doors are supposed to be open until 10 p.m. Tell me why I couldn't get in at 9:30 p.m. My friend and I went to the drive thru, stood at the speaker for about 5 mins. Then as we go to drive off, this older guy opens up the 2nd window, and my friend and I looked at each other confused as this sewer smell hits our nose. He asked what we wanted, my friend says " Two ice cream cups and a cone. " He proceeds to say. " Oh What? " In a snarky way, so she repeats the order. He goes to make everything, then he comes back with the smallest cone. (The cone was for me.) I tell my friend that I did not want that. She asks him if he could make it bigger. He says " Oh that's the size it comes in. " (Nah you just being stingy and y'all make the ice cream.) Then I tell her, that I wanted a cup now. He makes the cup and comes back with the ice cream under the rim of the cup. First and last time coming to this location. Now I see why nobody was...

No double hamburgers on doordash. They have double cheeseburgers, and can remove everything EXCEPT the cheese. I wanted to give you money but you won't let me.

Edit 5 months later: Still won't allow you to order a hamburger. Terrible.

Edit: 4 months since the previous review. They have added a couple options for removing cheese now. Unfortunately if I want a double hamburger with bacon, I have to order a Double BK Stacker for $4.59 and remove items, when I wish I could just order a Bacon Double Cheeseburger for $3.99 and remove the cheese. Being charged extra for an allergy is awful.

New Edit as of Feb 2023: So the BK app works for customizations. Great news right? Nope! I tried it twice and they couldn't follow directions. All I wanted was a burger patty, bacon, ketchup.
