AVOID Burnin92 due to rude service. Not sure if the ownership has changed since the last time we dined? Despite low expectations at Asian restaurants, my recent experience was very unpleasant. They claim to be open till 2am on a Saturday night. We had a 4 top. Despite being the only table, the server was inattentive and burnt 2 courses of meat. The last course, the meat was actually ablaze causing a mini fire. She wasn’t tending the grill, so I quickly grabbed the tongs and removed the meat from the grill. When she returned instead of apologizing she remarked “let me take away the charcoal because I can see that it’s scaring you” dismissive and total lack of regard for safety. An hour before closing, she presented the check. Music was abruptly cut 45 minutes before close, an aggressive tactic to hasten customers. 15 minutes before close, another server wanted to bus our table, while we were still eating. Spending $200+, dining out is a luxury; better service is expected. Consider alternatives like JOA, Korryo Kalbi, and Ari for quality meat and hospitality at a similar price point. We will not be returning to Burnin92.
A note to management: We are easy diners and did not intend on camping past closing time. Please train your staff for better steps of service and guest appreciation. Dining out is a hard-earned luxury; if empathy is lacking, consider a different profession. If you truly wish to rectify the issue and want more details...

I had trouble debating between Burnin92 and Ari, since they are equally amazing. However, Burnin92 completely changed my view on KBBQ because they use natural CHARCOAL for their grill. This is not your typical AYCE, so don't expect to pay a set price and eat as much that you can.
I was skeptical at the beginning, but it's worth the splurge for a good meal. I said splurge, but it's not that much more expensive compared to Gen or Manna (typically $28). My boyfriend and I usually get their combo 4, which comes with 4 different cuts of beef, totaling $50. We also get pretty full by the 3rd round, so it's not bad at all!
Asides from the high quality meats, it also come with lettuce, rice and your typical Korean side dishes. I like to stuff myself with kimchi & radish, and I also wrap my meat in a lettuce wrap. IT IS LIFE CHANGING. Grilling the meats with charcoal really give it more flavor, and you smell like delicious KBBQ afterwards too (instead of the nasty sweat smell).
The wait can be long or short depending on your timing. I've been 7+ times and I think the average wait time was 30 mins. There was a time they got popular from a Facebook group post and it took 1.5 hour to get a table. Customer service is slow sometimes, even though they have a bell on the table where you can press. Overall, I'd highly...
Read moreI recently visited this Burnin 92 for dinner and was quite disappointed. The side dishes were far from authentic—even the kimchi left me questioning if it was really made by someone familiar with true Korean flavors. The meat was just average—not bad, but nothing special either. The rice was dry and yellowish. The salad was so small that we had to keep ordering more. They didn’t initially serve ssamjang (a staple sauce in Korean BBQ), and although some might argue it’s not always included, the ssamjang they did provide tasted so off that, as a Korean, I found it hard to eat. The stir-fried fish cake (odeng bokkeum) was soggy and unappetizing, and the cucumber side dish left me wondering what it was supposed to be. The doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) was particularly bad—it’s honestly the worst I’ve ever had. The taste was so off that it was almost unrecognizable.
The interior also felt incomplete and outdated compared to the decor you’d expect from many Korean restaurants these days.
On the bright side, the staff were friendly and made an effort to be responsive, which I appreciated.
I went because of the good reviews, but I won’t be returning. Over $100… no no no. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Korean BBQ experience, I recommend trying...
