about 12:49 PM this afternoon, I went to Captain D’s down in Dallas. This is the second trip there because on yesterday when my husband went there for our food, he repeated our order to the young lady two times each time she repeated it back incorrect needless to say he got home and the order was indeed incorrect so I called back There shortly after he had return home to advise that they had left items out of my order and that the order was not correct. Spoke to the young lady normally after I’ve had this to happen so many times I would ask to speak to a manager, but at this particular time, I just gave the young lady my name and my phone number And advised her that I would be back tomorrow because I could not return that day. With my receipt, I proceeded to go back today to get my lunch because it was lunchtime! long story short from the drive-through intercom to the window, All I received was attitude so much so that the young lady that was the person that actually took my order, her and I we could no longer communicate so I asked to speak to her manager. I expressed to the manager that this is not my first incident that I’ve had incorrect order or something wrong or my order being not Cooked well just all of the issues I’ve had within this year that I’ve had to return because something was not done correctly on their end. Needless to say the young lady that was taking my order and the one that I was picking my order up at the window is the same young lady so I advised the manager that she obviously doesn’t wanna be at work today and that she has an attitude so maybe she should go wash dishes, or bust tables or something she definitely shouldn’t be interacting with the public because it doesn’t seem as though she has the right attitude to work in the public. The manager then expressed to me that she was apologetic and that she would talk to the Employee. I guess that sparked something in her employee because she then at that time decided that she was gonna be hostile even more with me. Now, I normally don’t step outside of my character, not in a professional environment because you never know who’s watching but I’m gonna tell you this That young lady yelled out the window after I was pulling off to call me rude, rude , yelling out the window because I didn’t say back to her, Have a nice day or thank you. I’m not expressing gratitude to someone to give me negative customer service. I nodded my head and I pulled off! she yelled out of the window as I was pulling off now mind you sidenote that’s very unprofessional but your staff is only as strong as the management so that lets me know that the manager ain’t too far off from her employees. So I proceeded to back my vehicle up and walk inside because I want you to have that same energy and say that same comment to me in my face. I’m posting this because I want people to understand. I don’t have to patronize your business. I don’t have to give you my money, but I won’t take your attitude or your disrespect. If you don’t wanna be at your job, the job that you applied for that you got, find you something else to do! Maybe nothing people related and I’m sure there are plenty of jobs out there street sweeper, trash man whatever that you don’t have to interact with the customer, because I promise you if I was your manager, you wouldn’t have a job here or anywhere! now I don’t wanna post the young ladies name, but maybe I do, but I will say this if you don’t have anything else to do in your life do not play with me your parents your grandparents should’ve taught you to respect your elders and I am indeed I know I am but I don’t wanna have to step outside myself to put you back in your place! Your management your general manager all will know this...

It started with me sitting in the drive through for 10 min with no response. I assumed that the speaker was broken so I drove to the window but because 2 cars were there and I saw the worker with a headset on (which means it was working), I went back around to the speaker. Still no response. I attempted to go inside but it was packed so my fish craving had me go back to the drive through for the 3rd time. Finally the guy answered with not a "hello", "welcome to Capt Ds" or the expected "sorry about the wait" but would with "would you like the 5 piece shrimp for $1.99?" Say what? That's an add on item that you'd think would be an upsell that came AFTER finding out what meal I wanted!
I ordered and when I got to the widow, I paid and asked for vinegar, tarter ans cocktail sauce (to go with my added on shrimp). I got my bag and pulled off but realized he didn't give me the cocktail. I went back and went inside to retrieve it ans got back in my car to eat a shrimp. Guess what? No shrimp! I again got back out to go get my shrimp but while inside observed even more slow ans inattentive service that screamed laziness and lack of customer service.
While waiting yet again for what I should've been given the first time, I observed the worker (tall black guy with locs) speak dryly to the elderly customers, literally throwing their dine in trays to them (the tray literally glided on the counter) and when they requested a condiment and a cup of water his response was "yeah". I was appalled. The cook was just as lazy. I eventually got my shrimp and drove the trek home only to get there and although I expected it to be cold considering the long wait and all of the incorrect and missing items I had to get fixed multiple times, the food was not edible and I had to trash it. The hushpuppies were burned, the fries cold, the shrimp was old and the nasty icing on the cake? The batter was like old cornmeal and it was so thick that it had a weird taste! I called multiple times to tell them about it and to request a refund but they didn't answer. Why did I think they would even answer considering the poor customer service and the fact that they know they are sending out crappy food!
I've cooked at many places and one of the things you never do is send out unappealing looking food or food that is inedible and the guy in the front is no better because no matter how his day was going, when he looked in that box and saw that it wasn't something that he'd rat, he should've told the cook to redo the order! Read moreDear lord, please close this store down because it needs to be. About a week ago I ordered online and waited 45 minutes, only for my order to be cancelled by my driver. Then I went up to the store to order instead and the little blonde girl up front literally rolled her eyes at me when I called to her to order because she was standing by the drive through window on her phone. While I had waited for her to turn to me, I watched her sigh and have an attitude at every little ping sound that I assume indicated a new person coming in the drive through. After sitting down, I still waited 30 minutes before I had to go up and ask if my food was ready. When the same blonde girl angrily turned to ask whoever was in the kitchen for my order, she got verbally assaulted by the cooks, telling her to not ask about the time on foods again and that “It’ll be out when it’s ready”. She just looked at me and shrugged and went back on her phone. There were several people there who had been waiting for 20-30 minutes, one for almost an hour for their online orders. There was one woman I’ve seen in the back before, her name is Janice I think, but she was being so incredibly rude towards the other cooks, shouting at them and acting like they were the most incompetent people to exist. I watched someone walk up and ask for a refund because they got so tired of waiting, they were just gonna go elsewhere and this Janice lady came storming out of the kitchen and aggressively gave them a refund and stormed off, immediately talking down about that poor woman for asking for a refund. The food I got, when I finally got it, was not good at all. I just ate what I could and left because I didn’t want to get yelled at for asking for a redo. My fries were soggy and wimpy, the cole slaw was warm and the fish, I don’t even wanna talk about. The texture of whatever batter they used, combined with the lukewarm and stale fish, made me spit out what I bit into. To keep yourself safe, buy food at literally any other Captain D’s or any other restaurant for that matter. Someone needs to fire that whole crew and restaff, especially that Janice manager....
