I’ve been coming with my family and friends religiously multiple times a week to this location. However, lately we haven’t enjoyed the environment and we decided we won’t be coming back. I understand with a new store there’s going to be “policy changes”, but the staff should understand that the customer is just as frustrated with all these changes as much as the employees are. Again, I come multiple times a week to Cava and order the exact same thing but the price of it has gone up three times now. I politely expressed my confusion today and the employee’s customer service was so combative and made me feel uncomfortable for even asking and then said the manager would take care of me in a way like she just couldn’t be bothered with. Emily, the manager, has always been great from day one and correctly addressed the situation by nicely explaining these changes while making me feel heard. The next employee that checked me out, then rushed me through and cut me off before I was done multiple times and then handed me my bag while looking away like she couldn’t wait for me to leave. I’ve served in restaurants and in customer service for almost 15 years so I understand having a bad day and having to smile through it, but I’ve never made my customer feel uncomfortable...

This particular time not only was our order wrong the guy forgot to put our pita chips and that is the whole point why we go so we drove back 30 minutes all for the manager to resolve it which he did but to top it all off I grab a sparkling water so I could buy that to drink on my way back and the last ask me “are you going to buy that water” as IF I was going to steal it because I’m black she assumed I wasn’t going to pay for it although I’m waiting in line to check out so what else am I doing? My office will no longer be going to this franchise, I spent 40 dollars just to get stereotyped and left with wrong orders these two servers are giving cava a very horrible reputation. I get served half a spoon of rice portion and told that for the other half of spoon ,it would be extra.I Walk in an I see like 6 of the staff just mingling while the plastic wear and soda section has a big spill and mess all over it which kept me from being able to place my bag anywhere while I poured a beverage which could've been cleaned up instead of having social hour. It was very obvious the management was very poor and it makes sense as to why these kids displayed a lack of discipline in a job they signed up for. after this experience won't be coming back to any of the CAVA locations.
