Third coffee shop of the day.. and without a doubt, the one that left the biggest mark on our hearts.💛🥹
We stopped in Well Grounded Coffee Co to work and brainstorm for our agency Warrior UpStander Health Services, mapping out our mission to help one million people gain access to our affordable KMD healthcare initiative. But what we didn’t expect was to be completely moved by the story and soul of this place.
This isn’t just a coffee shop.. it’s a sacred space of hope and second chances. It’s run by the most welcoming sweetest people who are part of a faith-based initiative to restore lives and offer purpose to those who’ve walked through hard, unimaginable seasons. You wouldn’t know the details because they carry themselves with such strength and grace.. but their journey is one of transformation and courage.
What gave me chills? One of these incredible women is from our very own hometown area.. living proof of what faith, support, and opportunity can do. Talk about divine timing and divine connections.
If you’re ever nearby, please stop in - not just for the delicious coffee and a dirty chai oat lattes (which was perfection), but to support a mission that is doing the real, hard, beautiful work of changing lives.
Purpose was poured into every part of our visit. And we left more inspired than ever to keep fighting for access, equity, and healing for those...
Read moreI googled “coffee shop with comfortable seating.” Well Grounded didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere gives a home type of vibe. The future resembles what you would find in homes and not your typical coffee shop in a down town district such as dining room tables or coffee tables for two. Cushioned seating. 3 couches. Corner nooks included. Coffee is delicious and not too sweet. You can differentiate the ingredients in the pastries as well because they’re NOT drowned in sugar. A+++ on the Pastries.
They even have a meeting room for businesses featuring 10 seats open to everyone. The room also features a sizable flat screen TV for presentations. A lot of coffee shops charge to reserve the room l, but not Well Grounded. As a business man, thank you for this amenity.
And probably above all else, I didn’t get a sense of Well Grounded trying to make any political statement in decor or messaging. Seems they just want to serve their...
Read moreWith the amount of good reviews I had my hopes up for this place. They put so much ice in my drink it was very disappointing. We asked if the iced chai had sugar in it and they said it did not. But it was very sweet and heavy so clearly had some sugar. And it took a minute before I was greeted as I walked in. The decor is a bit tacky. Mostly I’m just sad about the ice. Three sips and my drink was gone. I think people probably go here for the events and love it for the nonprofit stuff but the coffee is overpriced and just okay.
Edit: I gave an extra star for service. I didn’t expect the reply and reimbursement and I am very inclined to give your shop another chance. My sister had a totally different experience here just today so we plan on visiting together again soon. I will update again with my...
