I have been to this location multiple times, and the consistency of the food preparations/portions are all over the place. Some days are good, some days it’s pitiful. I typically order on the app ahead of time.
This particular day, I had ordered on the app about 30 minutes ahead of time as I was driving across town to my service industry job. I arrived about 5 minutes after the time I had selected for the food to be ready by.
When I walked in, there were no other customers in the restaurant, only two employees working behind the line. One was seemingly fulfilling the online/app orders, the other was working on the regular line. I checked for my order, and to my surprise there was no order there. Being respectful, I waited for the employees to finish whatever it was that they were doing. It took about 5 - 6 minutes for anyone to simply acknowledge me standing there waiting.
The woman who had finally asked me for the name on the order seemed tense and not in a very good mood, and it seemed like they were possibly upset with me? She then checked for my order, asked the other person fulfilling online/app orders where my order was, then turned to me and said ‘it will be a few minutes for us to complete your order, looks like someone else grabbed yours.’ So I patiently waited for this woman to make my order, and I watched her take her time with almost 0 sense of urgency (VERY long considering there were no other customers in the restaurant).
When she handed me the completed order, there was no acknowledgement or apology or any sort of attempt at showing any type of concern for the inconvenience, which is highly upsetting when you couple that with the fact that there was almost 0 sense of urgency to complete an order for the sole person who is sitting in the restaurant waiting. I entered and left the building in the span of 20-25 minutes, which AGAIN is pretty crazy considering I was the only physical customer in that building with TWO employees working behind the line.
To top it all off, upon checking said order, although I paid for a double serving of chicken, I was only given the standard single serving of chicken in my burrito bowl.
As someone who works in the service industry, who also has to deal with complicated circumstances and customers, I’m very patient and sympathetic to those who also have a similar occupation. I typically don’t make complaint posts like this either (please feel free to check my Google profile if you’d like), but what I’m not sympathetic to is unprofessional and repulsive behavior that makes me feel uncomfortable to order at or even walk into this particular store ever again. I have frequent this particular one several times in the past, and usually am met with good energy, great vibes and is always good food. But I do have to write a review about today’s experience because it was a completely left field for me. Time to set the atmosphere I walked in to employees when you meet you walk in on the left-hand side, having lunch good for them. They definitely probably deserve it. One employee is only when I see behind the counter usually there’s two or three around this time. I get to the front counter and ask for a burrito. The lady immediately walks away from me without any explanation and then goes to another area to grab said burrito. I asked for steak and chicken. I didn’t really look at the hot plates at the time. How many find out there was no beef. The guacamole had a brown layer over the top. And the chicken had looked like it was drier than the Sahara desert. And instead of saying hey, I might have some in the back or would you mind waiting for us to cook up some? I was simply told we’re not gonna have beef today that’s fine I’ll go to another chipotle but I do not recommend this one from here on out. Read moreOrdered delivery online on the website. They make you click the address. The order went through but the apartment complex was the wrong one in the email. Called the store number which just gets you to a phone tree for the entire company. You literally cannot call the store. After trying to rush through the phone tree and couldn’t get it to let me talk to anyone. Googled the 800 number and finally spoke to someone. Had to give them everything but my social. Told them I needed to give them the right address to deliver to. She gave me the drivers phone number but the number was out of service. The chatbot on the website is the same as the phone tree. The driver called because the apartments he went to, again because their own website messed up, had a gate. I told him what happened and let him know I was close by. He told me it was three miles away, it’s not, & I told him it was a mile and a half away. He told me sorry, but it’s too far & ended the conversation. I got someone on chat and they kept pushing me back to the bot when I got got anyone. Someone finally told me that they can’t issue refunds. This store is awful, the driver was rude, the website is broken, I will never give this company money again, & I would advise anyone reading this to avoid...
