Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Dallas

My husband and I drove from Denver CO., picked up my brother and sister-in-law in Leveland TX. We continued our trip to Baylor Hospital, and hotel. We dined at Church's 10/31/2022, 5:00 . The cashier, and the other 3 staff member's customer sevice was fine. As for the manger ger customer servive wouldn't even let the cashier finish taking our order. The manger listened trying to fill our order, asking us what it was we wanted. She wouldn't wait for order to come up on screen or let cashier take the order, creating chaos. The manger kept the throwing cooked chicken because she couldnt get our order right. She threw it into the box, taking it out and throwing it back into the holding bin where the chichen is kept hot. You could see her discust toward us because of our order, she couldn't get it correct. We only got half our order, had to wait for 10 min for the other half. Regarding our order, the fried chicken was delicious. The honey biscuit were dense, brown gravy/m.potatoes had been setting in the container for awhile, gravy was stuck on the sides of the container. The country fried steak had a nasty freezer burn taste, white gravy was watered down. This is the 2nd time for my brother and his wife to experience this unacceptable, foul costumer service at this location. Our first at this restaurant. We will not visit this location again. I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at this place was awful. It was my first time trying out Church's and I was genuinely excited about it. However, upon entering, I was met with rudeness. The lady at the front didn't acknowledge me and barely answered my questions, seemingly unable to communicate in English. Instead of trying to assist me with a smile or getting a translator, she just ignored me with a blank expression. The manager, Carmen, was incredibly rude as well. Even though I had placed an online order and provided her with my confirmation, she treated me as if I didn't deserve the food and gave me a hard time. It was shocking because when I asked to speak to the manager, she was the one in charge. Such behavior is unacceptable for a manager at any establishment, and I'm deeply disappointed by the actions of these employees. Furthermore, I noticed workers in the back drinking bottled water while cooking, which was unsanitary and chaotic. I will definitely never visit this location again .As a YouTube food reviewer, I was eager to visit this establishment and provide a positive review. It's been a while since I had Church's chicken so I dined in at the Gaston location. It was around 12:30 PM and the dining room was completely empty. In fact, I stood at the counter for a couple minutes with no one even noticing my presence. Finally I hollered out "Hello" in hope someone might come take my order. Please don't think I am singling out Church's Chicken; this happens to me a lot lately since Covid-19 became a thing. Anyway, the manager approached the register and took my order. Did you know Church's has a spicy variety of seasoning on their chicken now? I ordered a two piece mixed plate with fried okra. The manager made the okra fresh for me and was very personable. I remembered why I love Church's when I took that first bite. It's not just their chicken, which seems to be larger than their nearest competitor, it's those delicious buttery biscuits! They have some sweet glaze on the top crust and are flaky and warm. Down-home wholesome goodness! Upon giving me my order, the manager told me to hurry back and see her.
