Great little spot, and have had only good experiences here, and I have had several! :) It is a very good value....Not 5 star food, but it IS 5 star food for the price point! Great wings, pizza, roasted chicken. Steak Frites seasoned well, and as the server advised me, order this on the rare side..at least one shade more rare than is your preference....the guacamole and pimento cheese is a great starter. Mashed potatoes very good, as is the broccolini .....all executed perfectly. Then there are the desserts! Ok, i am a sucker for Lemon Meringue pie, and this would do my dear Mum proud, and she was a pastry chef! But I was shocked by the butterscotch cake a la mode, which was recommended: It is incredible, and different from the everyday. A small butterscotch cake the size of a shortcake cup, that has a bit of exterior crust or texture, combined with ice cream and butterscotch sauce. JUST WOW. I try to void desserts, but my GF loves them....and this is a MUST TRY. Also, importantly, VERY FRIENDLY service. Jordan is always courteous and says hello when managing.....Jason is wonderful keeping the bar area tied down and also quite friendly. Sydney is always nice. Everyone is actually :) My only wish would be maybe some bread available as a side (not free:)) as they have a wonderful type panini type bread already in house. This kind of reminds me of a VERY nice English pub. NOT too loud. Good food, and great cocktails to boot. Welcome addition to the neighborhood. Unqualified...

We are avid Flower Child fanatics, so when I found out they opened a new restaurant down the street, we had to check it out on the grand opening, and I can confidently say that DOUGH BIRD is a game-changer for our local food scene!! From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal. This place is super cute inside! It took us a whole 30 minutes to decide because the menu looked way too delicious!

Let’s start with the food. The pizza was out of this world—perfectly crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. Every bite was a slice of heaven. The fried chicken sandwich was equally impressive, with juicy, tender chicken and a crispy coating that had just the right crunch. It’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had.

But the surprises didn’t stop there. The pimento cheese guacamole was an unexpected delight—rich, creamy, and with a unique twist that left us wanting more. And then there was the lemon pie. Oh, the lemon pie! The perfect balance of tart and sweet, with a buttery crust that melted in your mouth. It was the ideal way to end such an amazing meal.

The service was just as exceptional as the food. Our server, Quinn, went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. They were attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced our meal.

DOUGH BIRD has set a new standard in dining, and I can’t wait to return. If you haven’t visited yet, do yourself a favor and go—you won’t be...

I was very excited to try this place…but sadly was underwhelmed. The service was the best part, I sat up at the bar and had a great experience with the bartender. She was super knowledgeable and made some menu suggestions-that I acted on. She raved about the rotisserie chicken that they make in house. I got a salad that had the rotisserie chicken on it and was excited to try. It was the Mediterranean salad. I made one modification to the salad, just asked for one item to be removed. Other than that I ordered it the way it came. I also ordered the truffle cheese bread. Which was great. It came out quickly. Unfortunately the salad was a huge letdown. It came with the ingredient I asked to be removed. The lettuce itself was poor quality, all the ingredients as toppings we’re chopped inconsistently and there was no dressing on my salad when it arrived. The rotisserie chicken was alright, good. But not great. I got my check and paid. After I paid the bartender noticed I didn’t touch the salad-she said that she would call over the manager to take off the salad. I appreciated the effort. They refunded my card and charged me just for my drink + truffle bread. The aesthetic in the restaurant was beautiful, quiet at lunch time. The bartender encouraged me to return and try a pizza, that the pizza’s were really their...
