I visited this store for the first time today and loved it! They had a great selection of Jellycat stuffed animals and I purchased a few for myself. Jellycat plushies can be expensive in general but I feel like the store was selling them for a reasonable price and not outside the price range I typically see. I interacted with a few of the workers there who were all friendly.

On the topic of bags, my purchase was placed in a red plastic bag. I wouldn't call it a trash bag, but it was not branded or anything. No big deal to me, and I don't understand why people are making a fuss about it. It's a TOY store, not a designer clothing shop--if you're buying something for kids and you want a nice presentation then gift wrap it yourself. I came here some months ago with my girlfriend, the experience was quite unpleasant and uncomfortable. My girlfriend and I were looking around the store, being respectful, greeting the workers, and acting as all the other customers were, and even bought 2 things. Prior to our purchase we overheard an older lady who worked their tell her co worker to follow us because she didn’t know what we were doing (we were looking around the store as everyone else was...) and to make sure we weren’t stealing. This made us super uncomfortable because from that point forward we were followed by an employee for no apparent reason. I was really impressed with how helpful the staff are here. I went in to buy a gift for a family friend’s 5 yr old son. Not having kids of my own, I was lost. The woman helping me walked me through their (very large!) selection (board games, outdoor toys, science toys, classics, etc. for all ages) and guided me through what she’d recommend. I was more impressed that she didn’t try to sell me something expensive, she actually recommended that I find out the child’s interests and come back before purchasing something. She could have sold me something, but really cared that I had a good experience, especially given my little knowledge. I will definitely be back!
