Lekien (Keke) is one of the best designers I've ever worked with! My husband and I walked into Bassett's as a last resort - we had been shopping for a sofa and two chairs, and couldn't find the exact configuration and fabric that we wanted. Keke greeted us, asked us a few questions, and we downloaded a tremendous amount of detail and preferences onto her, including fabric swatches and room diagrams. She immediately directed us to several strong candidates that fit our preferences, and explained in detail the customization options and construction so that we could choose what was best for us. As we tested and explored options, she listened for our preferences, asked follow-up questions, and pulled additional options. She understood our vision right away, and helped us build it out by pulling fabric options and customization options that further shaped the vision and brought it to life. She was a total joy to work with, attentive to every need and proactive in pulling options and ideas that aligned to our goal. I don't know if anyone from Bassett Furniture will see this but we have been waiting for 2 days for someone to call us back to schedule our delivery. We recieved a notification that our order was ready to be delivered on the 27th so we thought everything was good for our November 4th move in, but no one reached out to schedule so we called the store 2 days ago and they said the scheduling lady had to reach back out to us to schedule the delivery. We still have heard nothing and when I called customer service they said no one else in the entire company can schedule our delivery except for one person named Mindy. This is ridiculous. We needed our furniture now we are going to have sleep with a mattress on the floor for several days until this gets figured out. Can someone please fix this? This has been a terrible experience. RICK AND MARY BEATY We have been shopping at Bassett for about 15 years. Recently we were in need of a new loveseat and ottoman for our TV room. We shopped at three furniture stores in the Dallas area before we ended up back at Bassett on Lovers Ln in Inwood Village. We were fortunate enough to meet Inaya Pinkston who would be our designer. My wife is very conservative when it comes to picking out colors and textures on furniture while I am not so much. Inaya was awesome to work with, listening to both of us and leading us to a great compromise. It took a lot of patience on Inaya's part to get us to agree on the fabrics and colors, but we ended up with the perfect furniture that my wife and I really love.
