Duet K Town Karaoke Bar — Restaurant in Dallas

This place has so much potential being that it is new and trendy. However management and employees need to get it together. I booked my birthday party weeks in advance. I specifically asked if children were allowed. I was told they are. When we get there it is a totally different story. I was also told I’d be charged $35 per hour for the large private room. When we checked out it was $70 per hour. The manger consistently blamed other employees for what happened . She also blamed someone who she claimed to fire for the misunderstanding. If you knew you fired that employee some communication should have been made. There were tons of eras on all of my friends tickets. Everyone had paid their tabs yet manager was saying there were still over $100 worth of food on room . These items were things no one ordered. It took forever to get orders. We were ignored several times and she put all the blame on a new employee. I’ve been a manager myself and I find it extremely unprofessional to blame your staff instead of correcting errors. Had the experience not been so bad I’d come back because it’s a cute place but they will not survive business if they don’t get their customer...

Came with a friend last night for the first time and had a great time. The rooms are big and spacious with comfy seating. The sound system sounds amazing and the big screen TV helps with the words. You can use the IPad for YouTube or you can use their version of the software but it’s mostly in Korean. You can find American songs in English but navigating the software can be a bit challenging.

The service is great. Our waiter was also the bartender and sever. He was quick to respond once we hit the call button.

The drinks were a bit disappointing. We ordered an expresso martini, 2 mixed drinks and 2 shots. Everything we ordered tasted extremely watered down. We were really disappointed so we just ordered beers instead.

The food was ok. Wings were really small but had good flavor. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was a bit disappointing as it didn’t resemble anything like a Philly.

For 3 hours in the room with all of our drinks and beers (6 total), our bill came out to be $230. A bit steep if you ask me.

Great place for Karaoke! Nice, clean, and comfortable. Nice couches and has a up to date karaoke system. Up to date disco/flashing lights as well. It flows with the music, which is a plus.

Food is also good. We got a variety of dishes. My favorite has to be the chicken wings. Crispy and juicy on the inside. Ask for sauce on the side because the chicken itself tastes better than the drenched of sauces. Comes with really delicious fries. Also, there are plenty of drink options.

Service is excellent. Very helpful and attentive.

They changed their menu with delicious dishes. The chicken wings with the sauces are on point, juicy, not too overpowering like last time. Instead of fries, it now comes with sides of veggies and ranch. Variety of flavors to choose from. This time, we tried their other dishes. And all the food was delicious.
