If I can give ZERO stars to this place I would!!! I'm Muslim and don't eat pork and my husband who isn't likes a pepperoni pizza. So we always get half and half like a lot of places let you do. Plus why should we order 2 separate pizza’s and have it go to waste?!
During the pandemic we ordered pizza from Frankie’s and they would give a hard time about having half the pizza pepperoni and have hamburger meat, but he would eventually go ahead and make our pizza. We always want to support local business whether it's retail or food and we did especially during the pandemic. Today I had a busy day since I’m a healthcare worker and didn't have time to cook so my husband called Frankie's to order a pizza half pepperoni and half beef. The owner was extremely rude and said everything will go "all over," the place! Mind you my sister in law is Italian and that has never happened to any pizza she's made! My husband said that you have done it in the past and he had the nerve to tell my husband NO and also told him to go somewhere else! This is the customer service you get for supporting a local business!!!! STAY AWAY AT ALL COST FROM THIS RUDE RESTAURANT WITH NO PROFESSIONAL AND ABSOLUTELY NO MANNERS!!! I guess Frankie didn't learn manners from his Nonna!!!! We will never go here again and will never recommend this place to any of our friends and family...
Read moreThe place was pleasant enough, though a bit dated with the décor. The menu was straightforward enough, pizza, sandwiches, pasta, etc. I really wanted to like the place, but I just couldn't.
I ordered the chicken alfredo fettuccine. The menu listed the entrée as coming with a side salad, and piece of garlic bread; however it came with neither of those things. I ordered a side salad to go with the dinner, and wow. The "house" dressing tasted like cocktail sauce with a little bit more added vinegar. The only other dressing was ranch. That dressing tasted a bit like mayonnaise with tartar sauce, so equally awful.
The actual fettuccine was lackluster as well. The pasta was overcooked, and the sauce had zero flavor. Even a bit of salt, pepper and sprinkled on parmesan couldn't help it. The chicken itself tasted like chuck chicken out of a can. It actually reminded me of really bad hospital food. Like the bad 'heart healthy' menu with no flavor of any kind. I could only eat a few bites, then I just couldn't.
Luckily there was a very nice lady there who did not charge me for the pasta. Even paying for the salad was a bit sad, though the produce itself was decent. I can't say I will ever really go back to this little place. I just can't bring myself to go through that again. Best of...
Read moreThis unassuming restaurant is just on the corner of a shopping center, as we walked in we were warmly greeted by our waitress Renata she gave us time to get our order done and she brought our garlic bread which was spectacular she was very in tune and provided great customer service for recommendations were spot on I had the sausage and peppers sub which to say was fantastic the bread on that is excellent it's probably one of the most perfect sandwiches I've had my wife, she took the trio which is cannelloni manicotti and lasagna she stated her dish was very good and finished it all. Renata brought us extra rolls to eat which was very good too, but that is said the food was fantastic the service was exceptional and also an added bonus, Kelvin one of the co-owners of the place came to our table and asked how was the food and service and that was exceptional too you normally don't get people to come out and tell you who they are and introduce themselves. I highly recommend this place it's a quaint little Italian restaurant the food is spectacular the service top quality and top notch everywhere. I can't wait to come back and try the chicken parmesan which is always my go-to meal and also too they're everything Pizza I saw one from another table and it looks spectacular! Fred & Peggy...
