I want to start this by I never review places, ever. I work in the area and I understand how make or break reviews can be for a business. I have been coming here fairly regularly maybe once a month, once every other month, sometimes a little more, for over a year now. I understand golden chick isnāt gourmet, Its not chick fil a, itās a little ghetto, and Iām good with that, Iāve came to terms with it, I think most have. That being said, Iām tired of the damn intercom always messing up, and either the person on the order sounds static or they canāt here me. Iām also tired of the damn employees being rude. For instance, today, I order the food, the kid on the intercom said āWHAT YOU WANTā I tell him my order, he sounds annoyed, he canāt hear me, he gets more annoyed, mind you I order prolly the most popular thing on the menu nothing special, then he go āthat it?āI tell him more to my order, like the sides and drink, after everything I said he kept going āthat it?ā. Now, I am not a soft human being, but Iām going to tell you, that kid is rude as hell. I understand this is not his life long career but talking crazy to someone is not right. I get to the window and heās throwing my food around, he really not wearing a uniform that I can see, just shorts, a tee, and a red bandana around his neck, like a 1950s woman. When I finally pay, I asked if he can take tips, I wasnāt going to pay him any money in tips, really the tip was to crack a damn smile or quit your job and work where you can br behind the scenes where you belong. He replied and said āIām boolā, nah I didnāt spell that wrong, he said āim boolā and threw up a b with his hands. This kid donāt know my background, doesnāt know I went to anger management in highschool, doesnāt know the stripes Iāve earned in my life, and to throw up bloods, while serving chicken, seems moronic. That being said Iām not here to talk about gangs, Iām not here to really insult anybody, but I am here to post this in hopes that someone with authority gets this golden chick together. I just want to buy my chicken and leave with no problems, with no attitude, just here you go, and I leave. Itās not hard. At least it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could put half a star I would. The service is slow and the food has been sub par the last three times we have visited. On the most recent visit, the chicken was so salty it was not edible at all, not even when dunked in the bland gravy. Only able to eat the fries and rolls. We ordered the whole family meal and had to throw most of it out. What a waste!!! I called to speak with the manager about it and was hung up on. The previous visit was bad too. We waited in the drive through at the window for twenty-two minutes after paying. Nobody came to tell us it would take a few minutesā to cook a new batch. They didn't tell us anything or even apologize for the delay once we were given our food. We checked our order, only to find out that after all that, we had items missing, and had to go inside to get them. The manager didn't apologize or offer any coupons or free items for the trouble, and even seemed irritated when I asked for the missing sides that we had paid for. That isn't good customer service! The chicken doesn't need to be that salty, neither do the employees. I want a refund, and will be contacting corporate. Sad that my favorite chicken place has let me down. Would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible service. Horrible management. I ordered a meal with chicken strips and they were approximately 2 inches a piece. The young man running the drive thru was kind and courteous and while he took my credit card and prepared my drink, I notice the manager (a foreigner) made my order. When I got home I couldn't believe that anybody with ounce of common since would think that the size of those strips was worth the price. I took my order back and instead of her offering to make it right, she just handed me my money back and said bye. I proceeded to tell her that she was in America now and she should learn what "customer service" means. I will never return and was told beforehand by a few people not to waste my time or money going to this particular store. I should have listened. I'm not here to be politically correct but I see a trend of these chain stores hiring these foreigners that can speak English but then they turn around and start speaking Spanish to each other in front of the customers. I understand Spanish but I can't speak it and trust me, they are calling you foul word in the book right...
