I went in drive thru and ordered two plates. I was charged for my green beans even though the plate came with two sides. I got the wrong side and went inside to return it and get the side I ordered. The manager and cashier looked like they were not in the mood to be there. Cashier leaning on register, manager on the phone, both standing at the counter right next to each other. Nobody greeted me therefore I did not greet. I asked for the Mac and cheese I ordered and the MANAGER looked at the cashier like ' soooo you wanna get that, orrrr?' while he was still on his phone. Still doesn't say anything. No apology or nothing just slides the mashed potatoes across the counter like that's doing me a favor. I told him I didn't eat mashed potatoes and I damn sure don't need an extra one that's going in the trash when I get home anyway. I asked for STRAWBERRY lemonade and got raspberry. They both fell on the floor and with the service I got about the mashed potatoes I didn't even bother to ask. I just went to Sonic and got strawberry lemonade slushes. The poor young man in the back is just struggling in the drive thru. If he needed help I could see why he wouldn't ask. Poor service. Shame on you. My issue with poor service is why bother? If your food was incorrect, compromised or anything less than positive wouldn't you have an issue? So why not take pride in your job and make sure the customers food would go out the way you would...
Read moreI left a review almost a year ago after consistently asking for fresh okra when I order in drive thru and get to the window end it’s not fresh. The District Manager at the time, Zack, contacted me and told me they would work on it. It continued to happen so I stopped going. Tried it again several months back and placed an order thru Uber Eats and asked fir fresh okra and the same thing happened. I went today and asked for fresh okra and was assured it would be fresh. I got to the window and my order was ready already and I asked the young man did the okra just come up as he handed me my food snd he said yes. I told him I would check it so I hope he wasn’t lying. Pulled up and tasted a piece snd it was soggy and like warm, not fresh! I had to go inside again and explain and wait for fresh okra. This is why I stopped going but I work in south Dallas and this is the closest Golden Chick to me, so I have to either continue to deal with bad service and old food or not enjoy it at all! Not to mention the boys working in the drive thru are very unprofessional. I’ve been coming to this location quite often and yes I have noticed it’s nothing BUT children working there. Who I know for A FACT are only there for a check . They still need to be fired and held ACCOUNTABLE . To really play in my face like this . Because if I SAW it as soon as I opened the container I know for a fact u saw it as u continue to close the container as u package my order.
I mean u applied for the job and got hired you KNEW what you was in for so I’m not understanding. I didn’t even go late (7:30-8pm) so it should be NO REASON why the food looks like that .
