Located within the State Fair Grounds, this small restaurant is the only place to buy and drink mixed alcoholic drinks within the State Fair of Texas. Sure, you can buy beer all over the State Fair but the only place to get your Jack Daniels is Old Mill In. The drinks may be kind of high, but how bad do you want to socialize with some premium liquor at the State Fair of Texas? Went to this restaurant only because there were no other choices near the convention I was attending. While it is inarguably charming on the exterior, with a water wheel, little bridge, and patio seating, the interior leaves more to be desired. It's not terrible, just you can tell it's been a long while since it was updated. The layout is also odd and the food, while acceptable, was nothing to write home about.
