My wife and I dined inside, and we have been eating at Sweet Georgia Browns and was just there(at SGB) the other day. So I was expecting a nice size portion from here at Two Podners(cause EVERYBODY knows that Sweet Georgia Brown does not shake the spoon. They FEED YOU YOUR MONEY'S WORTH). But Two Podners is SLACKING on the DINE-IN game. Drive through was a lot better, about two weeks ago my wife and I drove thru. But Dine-in LITERALLY have picnic plates! No kidding. $30 picnic plates, with about a $13 serving portion. And no Salt & Pepper shakers, no Hot Sauce bottles, no Green Pepper Vinegar Bottles for the greens and cabbage. NOTHING. NO napkins at the tables(you have to get them up front) I mean, mannnnn. Smh. I was LITERALLY looking all around for the Condiments Bar, the real nice lady at the register gave me packets of hot sauce and two small containers of jalapeños. But this isn't Williams Chicken for $10 orders of fried chicken. It's Two Podners for nearly $30 plates. The money ain't the issue because prices are high everywhere you go(and i do go), but no matter where you go, you want to get your money's worth. We definitely didn't get our money's worth with those child size servings on those picnic plates. Felt like we got took. Step it up Two Podners. Get some real plates that holds grown-up size portions. Get some Condiments for the tables. Blow some of that money. Load them plates up. Fix the music. It felt like we was in an Assistant Living cafeteria. Liven that...
Read moresupporting this black on business is a challenge for me for these reasons, OK this is what I ordered I ordered a chopped beef sandwich with a side of spaghetti and a side of macaroni and cheese with mashed potatoes and collard greens. OK so this is what I don’t understand, Friendly staff however the prices are outrageous, I paid $30 for all of that which was nothing the portions are so small and the food was not good at all everything could’ve been better for the price. What I don’t understand is why I couldn’t be charged for a spaghetti plate entrée then add two sides to that then charge me for the extra side along with the chop beef sandwich which would’ve brought my total way down but instead they charge everything separate, a side of spaghetti is $10 seriously ?? Now if the food was 10/10, I would be more lenient but that’s still a big price for basically nothing. if I were charged more like $20 that would be appropriate, considering the quality of everything. mac and cheese was only decent thing to me and that’s only because I love mac and cheese lol but also greens tasted sour but please adjust your prices, but don’t...
Read moreSo I went here today and to me it was over priced. Very disappointing. Nice and friendly people thought. I got a chitterlings plate, half rack of ribs, and a side of pig feet, two large drinks, chop beef sandwich, sausage sandwich because I couldn't just add sausage to the beef sandwich, and a piece of cake for $103.00. The chitterlings were chewy tasted like they still needed to be cleaned possible membrane still on them.... The smell was too strong to the point I could taste it strong when I took a bite. Chop beef sandwich had so much bbq sauce that you couldn't even taste the meat.... It was drowned in the sauce. Macaroni tasted cheap no real cheese used. Mashed potatoes were okay. Ribs tasted like they were boiled before placed in the grill. Sausage was doable... I've had better. Carrot cake was too dry no moisture at all... Tasted like a mouth full of flour with icing and nuts. The best thing out of the purchase was the Kool aid and lemonade... It was really tasty. Food was not satisfying at all. I hate to leave a review like this but I have to be honest. Sweet Georgia Browns had a better taste when I tried them...
