I don’t think we could possibly love this place any more than we do! Everything in here is delicious and the macaroons are the best we’ve had outside of La Duree in Paris. They’re always so fresh and absolute perfection. The cookies are wonderful, the flourless chocolate cake and the molten chocolate cake are both dekicious, moist and divine while the raspberry pistachio tarte might be one of the best things I’ve ever had, anywhere. While not made by Haute Sweets, the small batch ice creams are delicious. This is a small, woman owned business (she’s the pastry chef) that we’re more than happy to support. Honestly if I'd have to say what was the best thing here would be the workers NOT THE BOSS. The first time that I was able to go there, I was greeted by this one worker (I think his name was Eric), I personally found him very relatable, kind and was overall the highlight of my day. However, from what I've seen when I'm over there, the boss (Jason, I think his name is) would treat his workers like dumb kids when they happen to do something wrong. Not only do the employees not get the tips, they're also treated horribly. Another thing their tarts and pies are way too sour imo. First off employees were really friendly so that's a good plus. I bought a bunch of things to try with people Cupcake, cheesecake, macaroon, oatmeal cream pie, creme brulee. Honestly it was all just ok tasting besides the cupcake and the oatmeal pie. The oatmeal cream pie was really good tasting, texture and taste. I honestly didn't eat the cupcake it was inedible. The frosting was so hard and separated from the cupcake the one bite I had left a weird coating in my mouth. I expected for the cost of everything to taste freshly made like a lot of the bakery shops around dfw but instead most of this tasted like it came from Walmarts freezer section...
