We went during lunch, I ordered a beef hot stone bowl with udon noodles instead of rice, and my bf ordered a tuna sushi roll with jalapeno and wasabi. The beef in my bowl was the dryest I've ever had and the dish overall was very plain. I would recommend to the restaurant that they use a teriyaki sauce or something other than oil to flavor it. My bf said his sushi roll was fine, but overall it felt more like a $12 roll than a $20 one. There are other Japanese restaurants that are cheaper that deliver better quality food. The staff are knowledgable, efficient, and kind. The sashimi is SO fresh, it's delicious! The sushi rolls are perfectly proportionate; you don't feel like you're just eating a giant ball of rice with no fish. We also tried out their hot foods, even though that's not why I go to a sushi restaurant, but if that's your thing, it's delicious!
