With matcha being the newest and biggest trend right now, I thought I'd give this Dallas cafe a try during my recent concert trip.
After doing some research, I found out this spot is actually VERY popular and offered nation wide. Considered to be one of the best matcha's offered in the Dallas area, the shop reminded me of a cafe straight out of Barbie focusing on the concept of kindness, positivity, and bright vibes. It was obviously a popular and busy spot as the inside was full even on a weekday.
The matcha I had was the Strawberry Cloud Matcha Latte and came out to $7. The prices didn't seem that different from other special cafes and boba shops, so I was fairly satisfied when I got three drinks for $17 (after tip). The menu is unique and has a wide range with the collaborations they do with celebrities. Not only is the flavor fairly good having a strong matcha taste, but it was also well decorated coming in a cute cup (I kept it), encouraging cupsleeve, and heart shaped straw. Adorable!
The service was alright as I didn't really feel as though I could ask specific questions about their products as the staff couldn't really say much beyond the obvious, but they were very nice! If you are looking for an interactive experience, probably opt for a cafe that is more niche.
Finally, the space was well versed having an outdoor seating area and wide indoor space. There was bar-style seating, regular chair, and booth style seating too. Lots of conversation since the place is busy and bustling but a good spot to work if you enjoy the sounds of a lively location! They only have one bathroom so if it's super busy, expect a line you'll be waiting in to use it.
I had a great time at the cafe and really enjoyed the entire experience as well as drinks. A must-go spot to visit if you are in the area. Be prepared to be filled with joy and positivity...
Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable experience. Hear me out, I love every other location but this location needs to get it together. Every time I come in here, it’s something. I decided never to come to this location again but decided to give it one more chance because my sister asked me to go here with her. We were here for over an hour waiting on the orders. My sister asked multiple times about our order and no answer. We finally went up again when the crowd had cleared out AFTER AN HOUR and then they finally made the order… like what is wrong with you?! Anyways, I will never come back. No issues with any other location but this is absolutely insane. This also happened to other customers who we met during this hour plus long experience. This doesn’t even mention the other experiences I’ve had here one of which includes them making my coffee with literal salt instead of sugar. Get it together or shut this hell hole down. All of this for a matcha and toast that costs $20. Sticking with La La Land...
Read moreI love La La Land, but my last experience was absolutely awful! I was there on Friday morning, ordered a chai latte and avocado toast. My avocado toast came out within about 10 minutes. However, after waiting for 45 min, I eventually had to leave without my chai. Apparently, the ticketing system went down. It was very chaotic. I tried to go up to the front to cancel my Chai and just get my money back, but the girl was new and did not know how to do a refund. She tried to ask for help, but no one was available and manager was making toasts... I had to go to work so she wrote my name down on a sticky note and assured me that I would get my money back. It has been 4 days and I still have not received a refund. I have tried contacting the brand through the form on their website but have yet to receive a response. Sadly, I dont know if I will be back after this poor experience :( Avocado toast was amazing as...
