LAMB TACOS WERE DELICIOUS! At the start, I was considering to order a lamb gyro and call lunch, but my server was so polite and informative I was curious to venture into the unknown of this charming bistro. 🇬🇷I asked if I could order any salad as a side portion and he said yes. My roasted beat and arugula salad came with whole walnuts and feta. When it was brought to me, my server offered to top it with fresh cracked pepper. The salad was just what I needed but there were many starters and shareable options on the menu. Then my tacos appeared in a familiar vessel. The shape and color of the tortillas were perfect and I could tell they were freshly made. The lamb was surprisingly tender and moist- it must have been slow cooked in an array of spices especially with a cinnamon flavor. The lamb tacos were topped with pickled onion, feta, and a tangy yogurt sauce. 🌹I was so pleased with my meal and the attentive service. I will definitely be coming back for dinner. Patio season will be a delight here, but the management recommends to call for a reservation especially for dinner service and large groups.

First time visiting Greek Isles Grill and Taverna. I had a late lunch on a Friday - the place was not busy (about 4 other tables with small parties), and my waiter was attentive. I NEVER eat restaurant bread, but I was especially hungry and made an exception at Greek Isle - my tastebuds were greeted with melt in my mouth heaven. Paired with olive oil and herbs, before I knew it, I had eaten half of the loaf; had to restrain myself from eating more! I ordered the Lamb Chops medium rare, with the Greek potatoes. It is puzzling, because the 4 small chops were cooked to a variety of doneness, from well-done to rare - I didn't complain, because all of the meat was well marinated and tender - delicious. I also chose a sweet Greek red wine, and even though it is technically a dessert wine, it paired wonderfully with the savoriness of the meal. $$ - a little over $50, including a 20% tip - remember this was for one person.

If you want Greek food, this is NOT the place. We got there about 530, not busy, yet took about 15 minutes for my starter salad, which was slightly brown and wilted. A Greek salad, decent taste, but only 2 small olives?? The bread they brought out to start, my roommate called it right, was bollio bread from sams club, but the olive oil dip was good. My entree in the pic was decent, lamb chops were great, shrimp was meh. Spanikopita was good. Service blah, and his jeans were sagging, sorry but for a "nice" place, that's the last thing I want to see. Overall, would I come back? No, I've had a lot better Greek food than here. Hope this helps.

Let me share a little about Greek Isles! First off we found out about this gem on Dallasites on Instagram. Always up for a new go to spot, the wife and I ventured over from Lewisville. (Worth the drive). Went early to avoid the crowds on a Saturday with our 6 week old. The atmosphere is welcoming and gives off Greek vibes. GREAT music playing in background and then our server Patty knocked the service out of the park. He was warm, inviting, and knowledgeable. He kept our waters full and table clear after each course. Oh yeah and our libations. Definitely would recommend their take on the Cosmo. The house Greek white wine was also refreshing, light, and sweet. 6 bucks seems like a steal. The crab claw appetizer was a great portion for a great market price. Patty really made us feel at home and we will definitely be back....
