It’s so heartbreaking. I visited Dallas to try out this store as well as a plethora of other places. Upon visiting this store, as my wife and I were approaching the door. I observed two Hispanic women with dark hair on their cellphones. One with gloves on and the other using bare hands. Upon entering the store, I kindly spoke, both women with their heads still on their phones texting. Never greeted my wife and I. My wife asked if they were open. One woman replied yes. My wife then stated, I wasn’t sure because no one greeted us. The second woman then replied “just let us know what you need and we will get that for you”. Moments later, I decided to get a brownie and a couple of other items.
The woman that had the gloves on attempted to open the case and serve us without changing out her gloves nor washing her hands. At that moment I kindly asked her if she could please change her gloves because I witnessed her touching her cellphone as I was entering the store. She then looked at the other woman and out loud stated, “Will you serve them because I’m not washing my hands, im not doing what she asked. She doesn’t control me.”
My wife responded and asked why wouldn’t you want to wash your hands if you have been touching a cellphone that possess germs? She then told the other lady, you know we have the right to refuse them. At this point I knew we were patronizing the WRONG BUSINESS! This has NEVER happened in our lives. The woman also continued by implementing that I’ve visited the store before and asked her to wash her hands the last time. She completely fabricated a lie because this was my first time EVER GOING INTO THIS BUSINESS. Not only that but to mistake me with another party in a similar situation goes to show that these women have had this issue with someone else before!! I would NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! They expect for people to eat germs from their filthy hands. Even gloves should be changed out on a regular when you have worn them to make several orders. Some people are nasty and because you aren’t they think you are the issue and also think you are asking too much!
It’s my food if I ask you to wash your hands you should simply reply “no problem” but to blankly say “ I’M NOT WASHING MY HANDS” is way BEYOND US! It’s scary nowadays with not knowing what’s happening...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited Kokopelli Sweets and had the pleasure of trying their Rocky Road cake. Let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The moment I took my first bite, I knew I had stumbled upon something truly rich and delicious.
The Rocky Road cake was a perfect blend of flavors, with its rich chocolate base, fluffy marshmallows, and crunchy nuts. Each bite was a heavenly explosion of textures and tastes, leaving me wanting more. The cake was moist and indulgent, striking the ideal balance between sweetness and decadence. It's safe to say that this dessert alone is worth a visit to the eatery.
Apart from the outstanding cake, the staff at the eatery were exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly greetings. They were attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met and answering any questions I had about the menu. What impressed me the most was their efficiency and quick service.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Kokopelli Sweets to anyone seeking a memorable sweet treat. I will definitely be returning for another...
Read moreOn last Friday, I was deterred from shopping at this bakery due to the disrespect that I witness by the 2 Mexican women working there. I witnessed them become so rude with 2 Melanated women guests (that were a couple). I’m not sure if they were prejudiced against gays or browns. However; the workers didn’t want to wash their hands before serving the other two guests. This was a really touchy situation for me, because my niece had became really sick in the past from food poisoning. If you are working around food, you must understand that touching cellphones and other unsanitary items aren’t good. You can’t be mean to someone and you’re in the wrong. The couple that was in there was totally innocent and spoke very kind. To hear the response of the more aggressive worker, was really melancholy. I’ll never eat here. There’s No telling what people are putting into their body. A presentation may be nice but the germs it carries aren’t good. These women do not need to be working, serving food, desserts...
